“Anyone who attends regular Pilates lessons at this facility will truly be investing for their future. As a sufferer of osteoporosis and arthritis, the benefits have been quite outstanding for me. I have increased my bone density from osteoporosis to osteopenia in my back and to within the normal range in my hips. My arthritic knees have stopped hurting due to the leg muscles I have built up. This is definitely due to my Pilates lessons as I take no medications for these conditions. As an added benefit, my rib cage is more defined, the muscles I have built are long and lean and I am so much more flexible. I started with private lessons intending to move on to group lessons but the benefits I have had from individual attention and tuition have made me want to stick with one on one lessons. This is a warm and friendly studio where every client is made to feel valued and appreciated. I cannot recommend highly enough!“

“Love this spot in Benton Park! I’m part of the wellness program so I get a 90 minute massage monthly. It’s a fantastic way to stay on task with your self-care. Kalani Bone is the therapist I typically go to. She’s wonderful. She’s super flexible. She’ll ask you before your massage what to target. She’ll chat during the massage if you want to. She’s great! You can tell she cares about your relaxation and experience. ❤️“

“As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a cozy and inviting space. The room was softly lit, creating a warm and comforting ambiance. The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and provided gentle guidance throughout the class. They encouraged us to listen to our bodies and find our own peace within each pose. As I moved through the sequences, I could feel the tension melting away, replaced by a deep sense of relaxation. The instructor's soothing voice and calming music in the background added to the overall serenity of the experience. “I started coming to Pilates + Yoga studio in Chesterfield 5 years ago. I initially bought a package of 10 with Groupon. I had done Pilates at someone’s home prior to coming to the studio.I am addicted to Pilates. It is a full body workout that gives you amazing results.I have had numerous instructors over the past 5 years and I am confident in saying that you will be happy with any of the instructors you have.I bought a membership which is the way to go if you enjoy Pilates and want to do it regularly. I also signed up for a specific day and class. Doing this assures me of my time slot. Since I have signed up I generally have Lindsay for my instructor. Lindsay is a great Pilates instructor. She has a background in dance and is a certified Pilates instructor. Lindsay’s classes are challenging and a good workout. Her instructions are easy to follow. She has great recall and knows everyone’s name and their restrictions.No matter your age, physical restrictions or activity there is a Pilates class for you. They also provide private and duet sessions if that is what you prefer.“

“I have been practicing at Yoga St. Louis for 12 years. Bruce was recommended to me by a friend because I had severe back pain that had left me virtually unable to function. Frankly I was doubtful I’d ever function again but Bruce thought he could help me and convinced me to give it a shot. Bruce is an expert in physiology and can make even the most challenging actions attainable for most people. He understands the body’s compensation mechanisms and how to address issues in a safe way. This was not a miracle cure and took time, and work on my part, but Bruce’s guidance and careful explanations were key to my recovery and to helping me learn to move in safer and more effective ways for my long term health. He is the only person I will let correct/manipulate me when I am having pain. As an added bonus I have learned much about yoga and the importance of the interaction between mind and body to a person’s health and wellness and another way to approach pain and healing. As long as Bruce runs a yoga studio, I will be taking his classes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“

“Such an inviting studio! If you’re visiting STL. Take yoga here! Welcoming teachers- the teacher even got me a towel after class had started. Clean facility. I was able to jump in the shower and change into clothes after a sweaty class, and Cute t-shirts ( I bought one ?). It was perfection and started my day off right! Thank you ?? Namaste“

“My girlfriend and I have been taking Andi's Thursday and Sunday Slow Flow class and loving it. We are obsessed and both bought class cards after trying our first class. The studio is full of light and feels spacious with high ceilings and windows. I feel truly comfortable here as a fat, visibly gay woman in an exercise class, which is a rare experience. All the staff and fellow students I have interacted with have been so friendly and welcoming. Andi's class is slow and gentle but at times a little challenging for me as I'm just getting back into yoga; she constantly gives modifications and affirmations in class so that there isn't any weird energy or judgement around needing to do your own thing or modify a pose for a while. I am so glad I have found a space to continue my journey of developing a positive, healthy relationship with exercise and physical activity! Social distancing is enforced in class and everyone practices with mask on, so I feel good about attending in person classes during the pandemic. I can't wait to try some more classes at Brick City!“

“I enjoy this gym mainly for the free weight option it is hard to find a major gym that offers free weights. The gym is always clean , most times there is little wait to get the machines you want. Everyone wipes the machines down and the staff is always ready to assist“

I’ve thought about switching to gyms closer but just cannot after the amazing experiences with the recovery aspect of things, the recovery room staff is more than amazing and welcoming! Mo is super professional and really helpful!! Bailey and the rest of the staff are amazing as well! Lifetime is great the recovery room is greater ?“
