5AM - 1:30PM
1111 Horan Dr unit f, FentonOpen 24 today
739 Gravois Bluffs Blvd, Fenton“It's a public gym with a variety of amenities at a reasonable price. I was a member when they first opened and yeah, it's not as nice now but it's a public gym. The tanning beds and red light therapy work but have gotten beat up and at least one machine or hydro chair is usually down--but that happens. It gets resolved relatively quickly and has never impacted my workouts. It is not as clean as it used to be--the turf stinks a little bit and wiping down machines is not enforced, but I do see staff occasionally come through and wipe down machines. Women's bathroom/locker room is always clean... can't speak for the men's though... I tend to go very early in the morning or early afternoon to avoid the crowd. The teenagers and young gym couples show up around 3/4 pm and they can be annoying. It's best to avoid 3/4-8/9pm time window just because of the crowd. They are young and often just sit around a machine a talk, usually spending wayyy too much time on one machine but I usually just do something else in the meantime. I think this happens at any gym though... I really enjoy the women's studio and sauna, as well as the multiple smith machines. I hate that they got rid of the hack squat machine that you can face but I just improvise with a barbell or smith machine. I don't drink their smoothies--I think they're overpriced. I have tried a few and they are okay, but I track macros so it's better I make my own. For the price, I can't complain. My gym back home is a fraction of the size and 3x the cost, with less amenities and limited hours. I think some reviewers just have very high expectations for a cheap gym and don't read the fine print... just do your workout and leave. Even at peak hours, I'm able to do my full program. I think the main concern is just some of the other members, which I understand.“

9711 Green Park Industrial Dr #A, St. Louis“Updating my review:Been with them for a few years now, always personable and we always get great workouts, and the staff is knowledgeable of things beyond just lifting. They have helped me work through, and around injuries. I just wish they had a stages spin bike (@Chico :))“

1077 S Woods Mill Rd, Chesterfield“The owners are awesome.
The workouts are extremely effective and time efficient. In less than ten minutes once a week I have put on a few pounds of muscle and made some huge strength gains.“

298-R, Vance Rd, Valley Park“Guru Joe and the guys are knowledgeable and supportive. I couldn’t ask for a better group!“
5AM - 8PM
10042 Manchester Rd, St. Louis“I started going to St. Louis Strength because I don't just want to combat the loss of muscle that comes with age, I want to build it. I’m almost 3 months in and i definitely feel stronger. I realized I don’t push myself enough when lifting weights on my own. It’s been a surprise to me how effective Nathan’s work outs are in such a short time. You don’t have to figure out how much to lift or what to do next. He does it all for you so that it’s tailored to push you but not kill you, unless it’s the ropes. Those kill you. (Right, Nathan? Haha. JK.) Added bonus: Nathan’s a professional who’s just a really likable, nice guy and good human.“
5:30AM - 8PM
10407 Clayton Rd, Frontenac“NutriFormance is one of personal favorite gyms in St. Louis. It offers a huge selection of cardio and strength equipment so you can work out on your own terms or you can take one of the many group fitness & specialty classes that run 7 days a week. The group fitness classes drew me to this gym - I find them to be quite challenging! I appreciate the community vibe felt at NutriFormance. I see a lot of the same faces every time I go and many of the gym-goers have worked out at NutriFormance for decades. Amy Strahan's Strong classes are my favorite. Use Entrance By Cheesecake Factory - XKM is 8th Unit Down on Right, 154 A Chesterfield Center, Chesterfield“I have been a member of XKM for just over two months. I joined because of knowing very little about self defense. The instructors and support are excellent. Longer term students have also been great with assistance. My goal was to learn something about defense and that’s been very productive.“
5AM - 7PM
12878 Manchester Rd, St. Louis“Marc and team are some of the most knowledgeable personal trainers in the area. The walls are covered with testaments to PowerPlay’s successes in cultivating professional athletes, but they’re equally committed to helping average joes just looking to get into better shape. From old ladies to kids just at the beginning of their fitness journeys and everywhere in between, powerplay seems to provide the sort of welcoming, friendly, fun environment that can be rare in the world of personal training while still managing to push their clients to places they couldn’t get to on their own. At least that’s what they did for me.“
“Tom has helped me a few times over the years. His expertise is unmatched. He helped me get through an injury in preparation for an elite military program and helped me fix my back years later after I hurt it lifting my kids around.“
6AM - 7PM
15220 Manchester Rd, Ballwin“Alex is a great trainer. He offers very flexible hours and the routines are always challenging and he mixes them so they don't become boring.“

229 E Woodbine Ave, Kirkwood“Great experience with GymGuyz!! I highly recommend their team to support your fitness goals.“
8:30AM - 5PM
3809 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis“Erica is an outstanding therapist and class instructor. She is so observant, always making sure I’m doing each exercise properly and getting the most from each exercise. She makes exercising fun. I’ve participated in many group classes but nothing compares to the routine at Housefit.
I also want to commend Tia. She helped me with a shoulder problem. I take her balance class. She is so attentive and always explains every exercise again and again. She never tires of helping everyone get the most from her class.
I cannot say enough good things about these two therapists.“
6AM - 8PM
13450 Clayton Rd, St. Louis“I have been going there 2 days a week for the last year. The coaches are all very knowledgeable , encouraging and interested in helping me with my goals of improving strength and balance. I enjoy and look forward to each session.“
5AM - 9PM
6047 Telegraph Rd, St. Louis“Its a very clean gym and it has great equipment. The workers are nice and helpful. They even have their own bar for different types of shakes.“
Open 24 today
14890 Manchester Rd, Ballwin“Prob surprised to see this cuz I be eating. I think this location is pretty chill and I like the new equipment they've been adding. One thing is that they be charging late fees for nothing! And them annual fees are wack. They give no communication when it comes to financing but they're always pushing the darn Black Card membership. Anyway yeah planet dont ever got a good rep people will say go to Lifetime and Club but I dont hate it. Non-members will hate because of the beginners vibe and the people that go to planet are weird but the workers are more laidback then people think. I will say dont get the black card lol the whole reason people go to planet is cuz its cheap. But yeah I love it here.“
4AM - 11PM
7315 Watson Rd, St. Louis“The Edge is a great club. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is kept clean, the equipment is well maintained, and there is a lot to choose from. I wish they wouldn’t keep the facility’s temperature set so low; it’s difficult to get a good sweat going some days. My other wish is for longer hours of operation. To close at 7pm on weekends is not being accessible to members who can’t make it there during the day. I get that being a 24-hour club is perhaps not feasible. But it needs to stay open until midnight.“
