“We had a very unique and difficult hardscape project due to terrain and access or lack there of.. As a result, it was going to be a particularly expensive project so we got bids from a variety of companies. We were very torn because we were so impressed with River Heights. The owner, Nick, in particular was so attentive and professional. It was evident how much care and pride the company gave to their work and how much they value their customers. However, in the end, we made the mistake of taking what we thought was a lower bid but was only false promises and hot air. The final amount soared over what we were quoted without any apology or understandable explanation. Ultimately, we fired the company and finished with an independent contractor. I am leaving this review as a cautionary tale and to promote a company that stands by their word.”

“We've been using Albrecht Irrigation for many years, and have always been very happy with them, but after their visit a few days ago for Spring Startup, their man Ray went so above and beyond with his excellent service that I had to take time out to write this review. He not only did the startup. He not only diligently checked all of the heads and made necessary repairs. But he also made several adjustments to the system for optimal watering as appropriate to each of our 10 zones. And he discovered a leak, which needed to be repaired another day. So he made adjustments to shut down just that zone, and then redirected other heads to cover that area, so that we'd have coverage pending the leak repair. Ray was very friendly, and readily explained everything to us. He genuinely cared about us, and about making sure our whole irrigation system would be running perfectly. He obviously takes pride in his work. My wife and I were in awe of his expertise and dedication. He is the salt of the earth. Thank you so much!”

“Christian and his team replaced my roof back in 2022 as part of the purchase agreement when I bought the home. I was having issues with ice dams and water penetration with the dormers for the last few years. I called him up when I had a leak from the latest rain that we got. It was determined that the flashing along the dormers was installed incorrectly. He was willing to have the crew come out and reinstall the correct step flashing.<br><br>The fact that he was willing to help make it right and stand behind his work nearly 4 years later speaks volume. He didn’t complain about it, he didn’t try to argue with me or downplay the issue. He just did the right thing, even when it probably wasn’t convenient for him. He is someone that I would want to do business with in the future.”

We had a massive oak tree in our backyard that was leaning the wrong direction, and after getting several five-figure quotes, we were feeling pretty discouraged.<br><br>Jordan was willing to work with us, offered a reasonable price, and even set up a payment plan. He also took care of a couple additional trees at a fair value. I was impressed by his knowledge, skill, and ability to handle such a large tree as essentially a one-man operation.<br><br>The project took a little longer than expected, but worked with us throughout the process, and even included stump removal as a courtesy.”

“VLS has been mowing and trimming my front and back yards for a couple of months now, and I'm really pleased with them. I love being able to spend all of my 'outdoor time' working on my landscaping projects instead of that time being taken up by mowing. In addition to the work itself, I like that I get an email every week the day before they're going to be there. While they show up on the same day every week (except for the occasional rain delay), it's still nice to get the email reminder, considering how fast the days seem to go by).”

“They do quality work at a very affordable price. They work with you to get the exact product you are looking to get. We started out just having them do a retaining wall to level our back yard and take care of water drainage issues we were having. We loved the job they did so much we had them come back and put in landscape above on the leveled area the next year. Here are some before the retaining wall, after the retaining wall, now after we had them back for more work. We couldn’t be more pleased we the work.”
“I loved having Abbey out to my new home to show me how to care for my garden! We tamed overgrown rose and lilac bushes as well as several evergreens. She carried away all the branch trimmings in her trailer. Best of all, she gave me knowledge and confidence to tend to my garden on my own in the future. Abbey was especially generous to let my mom and mother-in-law join the training session -- and when we three amateurs wilted in the heat towards the end of the session, Abbey finished the job for us. “I purchased a yard of raised bed mix. I’ve been gardening for 30 years using the rich black dirt in my yard. My plants are outpacing any plantings have done in the past. There was little debris in with the garden mix. There was less debris than the hundred year-old ground I was using for a garden before. It takes many yards of material to bring it down to a yard of compost. You may find a little debris, but nothing to hinder your plants. Five of my neighbors use the product and are extremely happy”
