“Matt and team did our backyard patio in 2020. They did a great job of designing and creating a space that was eye-catching and met our needs while also staying within our budget. However, what really impressed me (and made me write a review years later) was their honor and commitment to their warranty product. A few pavers came loose this summer and McDonough Landscaping addressed and repaired it. It is rare to find a company these days that still cares about their customers even after the last check has cleared - that's how you get repeat business! As it turns out, small isn't actually small, so we did some work last fall...and then were return customers for more work this spring. Pat was very responsive and I really appreciated that he had plenty of suggestions for us. We're not landscapers, we're busy, we don't actually want to choose from too many options...and his years of experiences helped us trust his opinions and suggestions, which helped us a lot. “I've always been so proud of my landscaping, but 2023 was a tough year on my yard. My focal tree in the front yard died, and both the back and front yards were a mess of trenches and overgrown weeds after projects completed by other contractors. After 20 years, it was time for a complete makeover and Collin and Suburban Landscaping delivered! I had a plan drawn up by a designer, and after a brief meeting with Collin, he ordered all of the material, made some EXCELLENT suggestions for boulder changes that complemented our home exterior, and in only two days, our entire landscape was transformed. I literally had a lump in my throat after seeing the change. MIGHT have wiped a tear from my eye, even. The workmanship was exceptional-and I mean buckthorn taken out at the root, large boulders relocated and plants/shrubbery carefully installed. Not only is Collin responsive and knowledgeable, his employees were so kind and definitely share his customer service mentality.Out of habit, I'd used the same person to maintain my landscape the last ten years. I realize now, I was being overcharged and underserved. Switching to Suburban Landscaping was a smart move financially and for the health of my yard.“

“Johnson Creek Landscaping was just what I needed! Mick came and assessed my situation (56x22x3 foot retaining wall), came up with a plan and informed me of ways I could save money on the project (usually folks are trying to upsell instead of save their clients money!). When they came to do the project, they were very professional, nice guys. They did a great job and cleaned up at the end of every day. They even swept the street out in front. They cared for my property and at the end, the leveled my lawn (which had been damaged by their equipment) and seeded it and laid hay down. The grass was back in a few weeks! The even seeded my neighbors lawn below their side of my retaining wall (where there was only dirt before) and mulched below the other neighbors (where there has been mulch before). “We had part of our neighbors cottonwood come down on our property. Chris from Edina seasonal services was out to our property day of incident. He kept us informed of when clean up would happen and also the trimming of cottonwood. Super friendly knowledgeable and got the job done making our backyard safe again. We can’t speak highly enough about not only the job the entire crew did but how nice they left our property. I think it was actually cleaner when they left than it had been before the tree part came down. Absolutely would use them again . Five plus stars“

Tim and the entire team were friendly and very responsive. The crew arrived on time, worked long days and were great with our dogs who thought they needed to supervise the work.
