“LABORATORY - 4 stars!This review is for the lab services only.I've used them several times because this is the closest Fairview lab to my home in the northwest metro.GOOD:1. I never have to wait long. I've always been in for blood draws quickly once I get to the interior lobby for the lab. My butt barely hits the chair before they call me up.2. The personnel have always been very friendly.3. Amazingly, my pokes have always been flawless - no pain, no hematomas, no problems.4. The lab tests have always come back lightning fast. The results show up quickly on My Chart.NEEDS IMPROVEMENT:1. Making an appointment on the phone is a pain in the butt. Be prepared for long wait times, lots of button pushing, and possibly being transferred to a different number and doing it all again. I recommend calling at non-peak times or trying to do it on-line through My Chart.2. The people at the main front desk (not lab staff) that check you in are sometimes bitchy and unfriendly, frequently looking like they might be sucking on lemons behind the counter. It looks like their job sucks. (Personally, I think I'd rather work in a coal mine than do their job.) I'm not sure if I should feel sorry for them or if I should be irritated because they can't maintain a friendly demeanor.Overall, thumbs up for all those hard working "Lab Rats" (an old, friendly biology term for lab workers)!-Daddy Maxx Retro(“

“Never been here before, after making an appointment (even though I didn’t have too) was in quick. The staff was friendly very informative and helpful to get me the prescription to make me better.“

“I don't mind going there. At time, the service can be fast depending on when you go. Staff are friendly. Wish the check in was a bit confidential. Feel a bit embarrassed when they ask you why you're there after you mentioned you're there for urgent care- they still want to know more. Would prefer to inform nurses vs admin- (no offense!!) Other wise- can't really complain.“

“I went in to the Urgent Care and was seen by Georgia Underwood-Wright. Dr Underwood gave me some of the best care I have ever received in my entire life. I felt heard, and trusted to make my own healthcare decisions.“

“I’ve gone here a few times. When I broke my elbow, they were great and set it for me. More recently I went in because I missed a week of work because I had no energy and was sleeping 22 hours per day. They took an x-ray, said you have pneumonia and shot me off to go get my prescription. I saw a CNP and although I made medical notes and concerns known to her nurse, she listened to my chest and sent me down for an x-ray. She never asked about my lung history - a simple blood test could have meant the difference between drug store or hospital. It would be nice to know. This was a long cry from the usually fantastic care I get through Allina. It’s more about the people I encountered on 01-12-2025. I mean, geez, I was in my room getting ready for an X-ray and the tech came to find me and just walked into my room. She didn’t even knock. It’s the Jan 12 people who get one star.“

“Great experience with Urgent Care! The wait was only 10-15 minutes and the nurse was so nice that took my vitals! If you are looking for a quick visit, this place is it! Little chit chat, right to business. Dr. Schindler was quick to diagnose the issue and offer solutions! I am more than happy with the prescriptions he sent me with and felt like I was actually heard! Every staff member I interacted with was patient and efficient, would highly recommend, even if you have to drive out of your way (like I did)!“

“From Hailey at the front desk to Eva, Doctor Messina’s nurse and Dr. Messina herself~ a very friendly and helpful team~ I have been with the same OB GYN for 30 plus years prior to moving, so to choose someone new I was a little apprehensive and nervous ~ I was beyond pleased with the care I received and the kindness and professionalism of this team. Dr. Messina addressed all my concerns and took time for me and shows much knowledge in women’s health especially hormone therapy.. which I encourage every woman going through perimenopause /menopause to look into if they want to feel their best! ?♥️“

“Sunday evening crew was fun and light hearted - you could tell they like their line of work and each other. That said, wait time was long (sort of expected, 2+ hours), mistakes were made with my strep test and I needed to be swabbed again (adding to the time I was waiting to get diagnosed and head home). I appreciated that the waiting room was silent, no TV or music. Room was clean, lobby has ample seating.“
