Marshall recommended a surge protector which he installed to protect our new furnace. Dominion service company installed our new furnace last winter and we’re great from start to finish. The installation was completed the day after the problem was found. They also provided space heaters while the new furnace was being installed. Highly recommend this company.“

“Our A/C broke on a Saturday morning, and after checking the breaker and fuses myself, I knew we needed help and fast (the temperature outside was heading up to 95F). I reached out to 5 different companies locally and Heinanen was the first to call me back. Jeff, the owner, called me himself and said he could be out within a couple hours. He showed up right on time and took care of our issues, explaining things as he went, and giving us options on how we could proceed and his recommendations. The service definitely came at a cost, but smart and quality help almost always requires it so I didn't mind paying it. Hours later and we had a clean and working A/C that has held up over 72 hours through 90F+ heat. I would not hesitate to recommend Heinanen to anyone else that's got an emergency or want to work with a high quality contractor with attention to detail and doing things the smart way.

Update August 2025: We had Heinanen back out to replace our entire HVAC system 7 years later because of the positive experience above. They did an amazing job installing a new variable speed furnace, a heat pump, ducting, lineset, etc. Excellent detail, knowledgably and personable team, thorough and detailed work and review. “We used a different company who had come to our house twice, a week apart and when our air went out a 3rd time they told use they couldn't come out for almost 2 weeks. We called Hauser and Mike had someone at our house with in an hour. Found the problem (That should have been caught by the other company) got us up and running quickly. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to show us the bad part and explained everything to us. He stuck around after the air was running to continue checking pressures and levels to make sure that it would continue running. “Andy and the team at CMR are simply excellent! They added air conditioning to our old house for the first time and I'm very happy with the result.

I'm picky about my HVAC contractors. Some are just high-pressure salesmen, most don't pay attention to the details, and almost none of them understand the building science that goes into creating a comfortable house. Andy is the exception - no pressure, no B.S., and a willingness to do things right. CMR is also one of the few HVAC contractors in the area that is ACCA QA accredited.

He did the legwork for the initial estimate himself. He worked with me for several weeks via email ironing out the details on our challenging installation (refining load calculations, system sizing, pros/cons of different options, etc.). And he was even able to save me some money by allowing me do a lot of the prep work myself (I installed the new electrical disconnect, moved our existing condensate pump, pulled new thermostat wire, etc.).

Installation day was a breeze and the crew had excellent workmanship. System easily passed both inspections and has been running smoothly ever since. Connie at the CMR office is always delightful and responsive. I'll be coming back to CMR for my future maintenance and projects!“

“We signed up for their membership that included annual servicing of our furnace and AC. During the winter furnance inspection, we learned our heat exchange on our 25 yro furnace was cracked.
