“I called today to make an appointment for an eye exam. The first woman I spoke to I believe her name was Maryann? Very rude. Upon answering I told her I “possibly” wanted to make an appointment, really just used that word because it’s so hard to get into places anymore, and she sounded confused then asked what I wanted? So I explained I was due for an eye exam and she was like “Okay? So do you wanna make an appointment or not because you said possibly?” Not sure why I was given an attitude because obviously I want to make an appointment for an eye exam I wouldn’t have called if not.. Everything was then redeemed by Jody because she was very sweet and helped me after with some insurance issues with patience & kindness that Maryann clearly lacked.“

“I visited the Eastpointe office on 8 mile, Sat. 1/4/25. I was greeted well. Everyone was nice & professional. Annette waited on me to choose my eyeglasses. She was Very helpful & nice. She also gave me great advice regarding my choices & options. I will definitely return in the future. I also will refer family & friends to their location. I will give another update when I return to pick up my glasses.

Update on 1/28/25- I took in new Cartier glasses that I purchased elsewhere. I also purchased a second pair from Black & White Look Optical. I was told that my Cartiers would take 3 weeks to be ready & the 2nd pair 7-10 days. After calling several times to get updates, the Cartiers were ready in 26 days (almost 3 weeks) & the 2nd pair were ready in exactly 3 weeks. Both pairs turned out great & I’m overall satisfied with them. But the wait time for completion is Crazy!
With all that being said, PACK YOUR PATIENCE while waiting for your glasses to be ready!“

“Clean place, Dr. Kim Le is the one who checked our 5-year-old son. Dr. Le was beyond amazing; she has too much knowledge, a good caring heart, and a great way of communicating with kids. I appreciate every minute Dr. Le spent while checking on my son's eyes. The negative part about our visit was when the doctor's assistant came to apply drops in my son's eyes and that is why I am stressing myself all day after this visit. The assistant seemed like a nice person but her communication with us including my son the minute she entered the room was very poor. She did not even smile with the kid, honestly, she dealt with him as an adult. she flipped the chair 90 degrees, she said she will lay him down, but it was too late for me to suggest another way to position my son, his position is terrible because he has a serious back issue and that killed me inside. She should have comforted my son when he panicked after the chair was tilted, instead, she ordered my wife to grab his hand. I was hurt, sad, and upset because I was worried about his back. Sad experience but after all I thank my LORD and Dr. Le for everything.“

“Nice office. The staff at Family Eye Care are friendly and efficient. Dr. Popp was particularly informative, answered my questions. He was very thorough and patient with me for the testing. Since my cataracts are getting worse, I am a candidate for the surgery. (won't need glasses) yay! Scheduling asap“

“Great staff to deal with. I was on edge of doing the lasik or not. They took their time to explain the steps and the recovery process. If they didn’t take their time explaining things with me I would have not done it. No regrets with getting it done with them.“
