Insurance benefits were explained to me clearly which helped me make decisions quickly. Both a pair of glasses and contacts were ready in the time frame quoted. Both the Dr and staff are down-to-earth, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. The location is great- right behind the Grandville library with a large parking lot. There's also a tasty bakery just a short walk away.“

“Popped in to see if they could help with my son’s glasses. Both arms of his glasses were broke off, and he can’t function without them. The woman working took the lenses out of his broken glasses and put them in a donated pair. We were in there for just a couple minutes and went from totally stuck without glasses to him wearing glasses instantly. We didn’t even buy his glasses there, but I will be going there in the future. I highly recommend this place. We are so grateful for their help!“

“Had a problem with my new lenses.
My scrip came from GR Opt. The Mgr. Jen decided to remake lenses at no cost to me. To be certain on the accuracy of the script I got a new eye exam at RX. Turns out my eyes changed since my GR Opt. Exam.
Mgr Jen still covered my lenses at no cost to me. I was so relieved and grateful.
Also , I will be getting my eye exams at RX from now on. The Doctor gave me the most comprehensive eye exam I’ve ever had. Very thorough, not rushed and explained everything very clearly.
Cost with no insurance was $99/$149. My charge was $99,
GR Opt. $240.
Also, the Opticians Jennifer and Kristin worked together as a team to help me understand the process to get me fitted properly.
Thank you to the Doctor, Jen, Jennifer and Kristin for working together as a team to help me and not drain my pocket book in the process!!! With the high costs on everything today, I really appreciated this outcome.“

Best part tho is Dr. Ebels...he has be my eye doc for several years..at least 10 or more...Dr. Ebels is very well educated on eye diseases and problems. He answered all of my questions in great detail...he gave me a lot of useful info on how to deal with my eye disease issue! Very pleased with his services.“

“Been going here over 12 years now, never had any problems, my recent eye appointment you could tell the dr was a little bit frustrated, but not with me, with the fact i didn’t wear my glasses like i was supposed to so my vision didn’t improve ! It was more of a frustration for my eyesight not for me. Always been treated with respect, no one had a problem with my 4 year old being in there with me. Surprised they have bad reviews at all. Front desk “socializes” with each customer, ive never been ignored, you just simply have to wait for them to finish up with a customer :)“

“I have been seeing Dr. Ryskamp for several years now and have been so happy with the care and service I have received! My very first appointment was an emergency on a Saturday after injuring my eye and her staff got me in asap! Dr Ryskamp spent so much time taking care of me, helping to manage my pain, and putting together a plan for continued care. Dr. Ryskamp always listens to my concerns and feedback about my vision and has been very good at understanding that some of my other medical issues may impact my vision. She is also an incredible note taker and we were able to pick right back up where we left off after I let some time go by between appointments. I appreciate that she, and her staff, explain each step of the exam and why it’s being done. It makes me feel educated and included in my care as a patient. As someone who does not carry vision insurance, I find the cost of appointments to be extremely fair and competitive with other area offices.“
