“This was my first week. And I must say I Love it. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I was so nervous at first. But the instructor’s are so patient with you. And the other ladies in the class are so kind and helpful. I work full time , so I think I will start off with 2 days a week. And work my way up.And the best part that I absolutely love is , it’s only 8 mins from my home. If you are looking for a safe and clean and professional fitness center, Mid American Fitness is your place.????“

“I've been practicing Yoga with Thrive on and off since 2013. 98% of the time, I'm at their Troy location, since this one's a bit far and out of the way for me. But, I had purchased a 5 pack of classes and the last class expires tomorrow, so I had to use it. The schedule at this location had the class and time that I wanted, so since it's Easter Sunday, I decided to trek out here and get my Yoga on.The studio's in a strip mall just like their Troy location, at the corner of 12 mile and Orchard Lake Road. The lobby area's well taken care of full of product for sale. Yoga mats, towels, and a few sweatshirts are there for purchase. The lobby usually opens 30 minutes prior to class starting so everyone can get checked in and set up in class with their mats.If you don't have a mat, they will rent you one for a few dollars. They also have towels as well, but I think they charge for those too. I've forgotten my mat at home before and had to rent one, just make sure you return it to the counter. The bathrooms here are fabulous, and there's tons of space and cubbies for putting your items away while you're doing yoga. The showers are great just be prepared to dress in front of other people. They also have cubbies up front, which are the ones I use when placing my shoes and keys away before class. Remember kids, no cell phones are allowed in the yoga studio during class. Also, no shoes past the lobby area!As for pricing, they are not cheap but not the most expensive I've seen either. They have a variety of different packages available for purchase. You can purchase classes in a bundle (10 classes, 5 classes, etc.) or you can get a monthly membership. They also usually have new student discounts so check online and with the staff. They also have a drop in fee if you just want to do one class to check it out or get a yoga class in for fun.*most* of the instructors here are good. Over the years I've had a few that were NOT good, unfriendly or just unhelpful. But, most are good at leading class and get to know you by name. Make sure to bring water, a mat, a towel and get ready to do some Yoga!“
