“I always tell my friends, “ You gotta go to Dave!” And I mean every word. For YEARS I struggled with chronic physical pain that no amount of chiropractor visits, physical therapy, or yoga could fix.During the first minutes with Dave, I learned that my hips were misaligned and that I was literally viewing the world from a slanted angle! After two months of weekly MAT adjustments, I had worked through the intense hip, pelvic, and upper thigh pain that I had been (poorly) managing for years.Dave also gave suggestions regarding how to maintain proper alignment with daily micro exercises. He also made suggestions on which sports or exercise programs to avoid (so that I wouldn’t have to go to him forever).Getting MAT treatments with Dave is literally the BEST investment in my health I’ve ever made. He gets you *lasting* results and improved mobility without the “no pain, no gain” mentality that comes with physical therapy and the chiropractor. Although I don’t live in Baltimore anymore, I would still choose to make quarterly MAT adjustments with him because they are worth the investment. 100/10, highly recommend!“

“First of all, I love this place. And that is a miracle.I’m someone who dealt with low energy and frustration behind the fits and starts of “going back to the gym.” My diet, routine, and schedule were all superseded by work and frankly, low motivation. Eventually I realized that the only person capable of getting me to do anything was ME, and luckily, I found Capacity Fitness and Nutrition. I had NO desire to do what looked like CrossFit, calisthenics, or anything new, so I waited to see if the feeling to get myself together was fleeting.I saw Hugh Green in my Instagram feed with a challenge for busy professionals, and as a dare to myself, I contacted him, and he immediately reached out to set up an in person interview. I’m so glad he reached out to help me.I was so impressed with his rapid response and easy going, professional approach to my very own fitness plan. He spells it out, works one on one with me, doesn’t let me get down on myself, and challenges me every single work out. Hugh pushes you by showing you that you should believe in YOU, because he does. His support and encouragement make the challenge of the WODs attainable, even if difficult. I honestly look forward to my early morning WODs with him because he makes the most of the time we have while keeping things upbeat and fun (however challenging lol).I had to make a decision to keep a commitment to myself and stick with this program, and the changes I’ve seen physically and mentally are amazing. In the past I have bailed on myself before I saw results, but this time, I’ve stuck with him and lost 13lbs of body fat and put on lean muscle. My habits (diet, meal planning, day planning, gym commitment) have improved immensely thanks to Hugh and Capacity Fitness.The plan he created for me details the importance of rest, diet, water intake, and movement apart from just gym work. It’s a wholistic approach to helping me build and maintain a lifestyle plan that truly works, and the impact of that plan and the commitment I made to it has been a game changer.Capacity Fitness is a fun, welcoming, and supportive gym. It’s all business, so don’t expect frills. This place is focused on getting you fit and keeping you challenged. “What a place! I was nervous about finding a gym after moving since I had a solid CrossFit gym before I came to Baltimore. What a gem, this place is fantastic for everyone. It doesn't matter if you've been doing CrossFit for 10 years or 10 minutes, the coaches are wonderful people who will help your form and make fitness fun. Also the facility has all the toys and equipment you can dream of in the main gym and a 80s Rocky style basement gym if you want to work on your own programming or rehab. Sad to have moved away, but thank you for a magical year in Baltimore.“

Recently started both personal training and pilates: Both trainers spent time with me first to understand my goals and evaluate where I need to build strength to correct and help prevent injury. “I've been going to T for personal training for about a year now. He is incredibly knowledgeable about training in general, but absolutely personalizes training for what YOU are looking for. He changes up every session so I don't get bored, and works my muscles from head to toe. Clean gym and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!“

“I love the Downtown location of The Under Armour Performance Center but this location always is a nice retreat from the City in Baltimore County and of course close to Hunt Valley. I take the train to Hunt Valley from The City and that works out so nice especially during the Winter to drop-off right near this Gym to a short Walk and enjoy the gorgeous nature and atmosphere of the Hunt Valley area after a hard Workout. Great facility! Beautiful waiting area as well!“

Everyone I have worked out with in the groups here has been supportive and kind. I have never worked out consistently for such an extended period of time.
