“I highly recommend this business. I used them to replace the water heater in my home in NW DC. Al initially answered all of my questions over the phone and was able to give me a quote with my provided measurements, photos, and info provided via text. He showed up on time, was extremely professional and respectful of my home (including wearing shoe covers). He was thoughtful in his approach and layout and left my home as tidy as he found it. While my initial interaction was amazing, what made me come write this review is how this business responded when I had an issue with my water heater. I recently had an issue where my water heater was not performing normally. I was concerned that they might not be as responsive because it is the middle of winter (busy season for heating repairs) and this was a follow up call (not new business). After leaving a message, they called me back the same day and made arrangements to come out and troubleshoot my heater. A different crew came out the second time, they were just as professional and courteous as the first. They wore shoe covers, left everything tidy, and most importantly were able to quickly figure out the issue and complete the repair at no additional cost to me. I cannot recommend them enough. This will be my go to for any hvac/water heater maintenance/repairs going forward.“
“Called up Reign plumbing and spoke with Godwin to get a second opinion after receivinga quite frankly ridiculous quote from a different company. Godwin was able to diagnose the issue on the phone after sending over some pictures of the area and was able to quickly fit me into his schedule. He showed up right when he said he would to complete the work, didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary like the first company did, and passed on the savings when the needed parts ended up being cheaper than originally estimated. Godwin will be my first call for any other plumbing issues that come up“

“I'm very happy with the radiant heat Fred and Elvis (Elvis is awesome. friendly, knowledgeable and all around great guy) installed in my home.Before the radiant heat, I had a hot air blower system that I hated with a burning passion. I missed the radiators I had when I lived in DC. So this was a completely new system.We got a natural gas combination broiler system. It replaced the old gas hot water heater that I was planning to replace in the near future. Unfortunately, I only had enough money to do the basement and the 1st floor of the house (the 2nd floor has electric baseboard heaters), but there's room in the system to add radiators.I love the tankless system.Fred can be a little hard to get a hold of, for that I should make this 4 stars. Elvis, who has done most of the work, is like 6 stars of awesome, so it's 5 stars from me.“
“Fantastic experience. Came out at last minute to snake pipes after water backed up from toilet and bathtub. They know the Bowie Levitt homes well and were able to clear blockage quickly and professionally. They were clean, mindful of a sleeping baby, and cleaned the worksite before leaving. They also spotted 2 other issues and came back the next morning to fix. Affordable and they dress nicely. Highly Recommend!!“

“We hired Cardigan to completely remodel our owner's bathroom. We first met with the owner, Jim, in November last year with the intent of just getting a price and ultimately hired them to begin work in December to be completed by Christmas. The thing I remember most about that first meeting was the personalized board they had up welcoming me and my spouse (Mr. and Mrs. D) - a really nice touch, albeit slightly incorrect as I was there with my husband, and when we went back to pick out selections they had updated it to be somewhat more accurate (The D. Family).Jim, the owner, was straightforward when we spoke with him and offered a competitive price compared to the other estimates we received. After we accepted the contract, Jim's sister and the company designer, Kim, was particularly patient with us as we spent upwards of two hours picking out the various components for the new bathroom, successfully finding solutions to mediate style disagreements between me and my husband. Overall, we were both very happy with our selections and excited for the new bathroom to be complete.The workers were excellent and displayed great professionalism during the remodel. The work began in early December, but was stalled a little bit due to the cabinet and vanity not arriving in time. The bathroom was functional, though not finished, before the desired Christmas date. It has been three weeks since the job completed and we have been satisfied so far with the bathroom. With the work, there were two (both immediately fixed) problems that stood out: First, the new toilet was installed slightly at an angle. We emailed Cardigan of the problem. When they came out the next time to continue working on the bathroom, the worker immediately saw the toilet was not level, apologized that he didn't catch it when he installed it, and made the toilet level to the floor.Second, when we started using the shower a week after installation, the shower was draining extremely slowly. Again, I emailed and called regarding this issue, and they fixed it that day despite Jim attending a funeral that morning. One of the workers came by that evening with a snake and fixed the problem. I was extremely impressed at their responsiveness.Overall, I am giving five stars due to the personalization, work quality, responsiveness, professionalism of the workers, and our happiness with the final result. When we finally move on to remodeling our kitchen in a few years, we will definitely be looking at Cardigan.The attached pictures include a picture of the shower before the bathroom was painted, and a picture of the other side of the bathroom after all of the work was completed.“

“First of all, we LOVE the name of this company! I called on Tuesday for service to our kitchen sink clog. I asked for someone to come out the following day. Mr. Gerald called about 20 minutes before showing up. He was prepared to go to work. Stepped into our home and immediately put on his shoe covers! Love that as we do not wear shoes in our home. Mr. Gerald gave us an estimate of the cost. It certainly was fair! He spread his floor covering out on the floor and proceeded to work on the drain. It did take some time but SUCCESS was ours! He brought ALL of his own supplies, some asking for a flashlight. After the work was completed he cleaned up his things and started to clean up under my sink. I wouldn't have it. :) As he prepared the work order/bill my husband and I had a few minutes to chat with Mr. Gerald. All three of us being Christians, we had a beautiful time! This man was a TRUE professional from start to finish! His vehicle, his dress, his work ethic, knowledge to fix my problem AND not add on any "extra's"! I could go on but you'll need to experience this company for your plumbing needs, you'll see. We are new customers with Eternity Plumbing but we will run straight to them in the future.“
