Godwin was able to diagnose the issue on the phone after sending over some pictures of the area and was able to quickly fit me into his schedule. He showed up right when he said he would to complete the work, didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary like the first company did, and passed on the savings when the needed parts ended up being cheaper than originally estimated. “I highly recommend this business. I used them to replace the water heater in my home in NW DC. Al initially answered all of my questions over the phone and was able to give me a quote with my provided measurements, photos, and info provided via text. He showed up on time, was extremely professional and respectful of my home (including wearing shoe covers). He was thoughtful in his approach and layout and left my home as tidy as he found it. While my initial interaction was amazing, what made me come write this review is how this business responded when I had an issue with my water heater. I recently had an issue where my water heater was not performing normally. I was concerned that they might not be as responsive because it is the middle of winter (busy season for heating repairs) and this was a follow up call (not new business). After leaving a message, they called me back the same day and made arrangements to come out and troubleshoot my heater. A different crew came out the second time, they were just as professional and courteous as the first. They wore shoe covers, left everything tidy, and most importantly were able to quickly figure out the issue and complete the repair at no additional cost to me. I cannot recommend them enough. This will be my go to for any hvac/water heater maintenance/repairs going forward.“

“We had Moore Construction add a large addition to our home, as well as provide some interior renovations in 2022/2023. We had a great experience with the Moore Construction Team from design through construction and close-out. Our PM Rachel provided some fantastic designs to us, including a design that was different than the others and ended up being our favorite layout and what we ultimately selected!The Moore Construction team was excellent communicators with us throughout both design and construction. Their project superintendent Marco was always very transparent with us when issues and change orders came up. We were fortunate to have very few change orders on our project, and we found their pricing generally pretty fair and reasonable.As construction moved along, the Moore Construction team really helped us out by offering some modifications and suggestions on altering the design (including going from a kitchen peninsula jump-up bar to just one flat slab which we absolutely love as it gives our house an even more open feel).The construction crew were great to work with and be around as we lived through about two months of construction before moving out. They did a great job communicating their needs early and we rarely felt like we were making last-second, rushed decisions or adjustments to our lives. They were also very understanding and kept communication open as we got closer to our move-in date and did everything they had to in order for us to move back in.In summary, we cannot recommend Moore Construction enough. They were a great company to work with and we can't speak highly enough about their staff. Thank you Rachel, Marco, Nate, Jennifer and the entire Moore Construction Group for giving us a home that we love.“
