“What a beautiful historic cemetery! Started in 1856, it's the resting place of many famous people from politicians to architects. The cemetery also has beautiful and unique flora, some placed near gravestones. Thanks to a group of dedicated neighbors, the cemetery is well-preserved. I was able to explore the grounds via car on a April Tuesday morning.“
“When my loved one, the young Joshua Broyier, passed away at Children's Hospital, I was all over the place trying to figure things out. I called several funeral homes and left a voicemail. In calling Snead, an older gentleman answered after I explained the need. Mr. Snead said, “Call Junior and tell him Daddy said…” The remark tickled me, and did just that. From the time I spoke with Mr. Snead Jr, the process, professionalism, and the fact he honored what “Daddy” said and it spoke volumes.
