HICleaners recently worked on our historic colonial. In short, I'm very satisfied with all aspects of the job.
The team of 2, worked on: gutters cleaning, installing gutter guards and removing moss and completed it all under 1 day (focusing on quality, rather than rushing it).
On gutters cleaning - they took apart the clogged downspouts and cleaned the sections thoroughly, which is not what all vendors would do. Lastly, they put everything together well, without me having to make any corrections, like I had to do with other vendors.
Gutter screen looks very solid and is installed well.
Moss removal - they identified additional areas I was not aware of, and took care of everything for little added cost, and without any damage to surrounding plants.
Importantly, this being a historic home with older siding, I was glad to see ladders used did not go against the siding, avoiding any potential damages.
At the end, I'm very glad I picked this team, due to the quality, care, expertise, professionalism and competitive pricing. Highly recommending Vasko/Ivan and the team.

Costello Funeral Home handled everything for me after my brother's death. I had pre-planned the arrangements with Lauren during my brother's last illness -- she was comforting, supportive, and thought of everything. That made it all so smooth when he passed; I didn't have to worry about anything. I am extremely grateful to Lauren and their team for their professionalism and kindness.
We had a great experience doing dance lessons with Vlad for our wedding! He helped us feel confident during our dance and doing the dip safely. He listened to our vision for our first dance and tailored each lesson to our comfort level. We cannot recommend Vlad enough!

Lindsey McGovern is not only professional, her bedside manner is wonderful especially when you get news that an area has professed . She set me up with Dr. Solky , and I couldn’t say anything bad about my experience. He was calm , and made the entire procedure smooth ! They explained every step , and made sure I was comfortable the entire time
Jerry Clancy and his son Brad are by far the most knowledgeable people I've ever dealt with in the trades. They are courteous and prompt in communicating with you. I had a 23 year old wall unit that was on its last legs. Jerry wanted pictures of the unit, model and make, the receptacle and plug configuration, and the exact measurements of the existing unit. The price was extremely fair and the recommendations were spot on. The carpenter Colm and his helper Mauricio were on time, professional, efficient, and left the work area in immaculate condition. If you're tired of the customary run around, do yourself a big favor. Call these guys. You will not be disappointed. Oh, I almost forgot. He sent rebate forms for $220 on the Friedrich unit and a $40 rebate from MassSave. You just can't beat that.

Steve Nugents karate Institute has 2 main karate schools or called "dojos", this one in Winchester and the main one on Cambridge Street in Burlington, Mass. They structure their programs around safety and awareness, overall respect, and good basic karate self defense skills. Their instructors led by Grandmaster Nugent are super trained, even in first aid and cpr, which I thought was excellent. They are super passionate and attentive toward their student and actually are quite caring, which I have never found in my searching for quality karate schools. Definitely check them out... I am very impressed !

I recently used Clipco for install of my irrigation system. From start to finish the owner, Cliff, was one of the most responsive people I've ever dealt with for work on my property. You can tell he's really knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions on the process. He was able to schedule me in quickly and his team showed up at 8 am on the day of. Really nice guys and very hard workers. This whole process felt seamless and I'm really happy I chose to work with Clipco. Based on this experience I already plan to use them for some additional lawn care services in the Fall.
Not many people like giving perms to women with long hair. We saw Jessica. She is so nice. She gave my daughter's and myself a hair cut with appointments To go back for perms. The fun between Jessica and Rosina is hilarious. It makes you feel very welcome. We have definitely found our hair stylist. Highly recommend.
My daughter has danced at Ballet Arts Center for over 10 years. It has not only been transformative to her as a dancer, but how she carries herself in and out of the studio. She has gained confidence, discipline, grace and wonderful friendships and community. The Ballet Arts Center Director and staff are talented and draw from multi disciplinary dance backgrounds and experiences. The approach to classes and shows are professional and top notch. It has been a joy to see my daughter grow up with Ballet Arts Center and continue to thrive in their pre-professional program. I highly recommend anyone looking for a dance studio to check them out.

Joe is an awesome barber. I needed a quick touch up before my first day of work and Joe fit me in on short notice (literally 5 minutes notice). Haircut took about 25-30 minutes and Joe was incredibly detailed with his cut. It was honestly the best haircut that I have had in years. Gail at Le Mani is a magician at skin care, and is the most lovely person you could hope to spend an hour with. I highly recommend her for all skin issues, from acne to aging.
My back fails me about twice a year--usually from sleeping in a funky position, exercising, or lifting something heavy. I also have a slight curve in my spine to add to the fun. Christine is the best around. I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair, even if it means I have to wait to get a haircut. This might not mean much to most guys, but to have someone who knows your hair and how you like it means you will come out with the perfect haircut each time. I travel from Boston to get my hair cut by Christine, and I still won't think about seeing anyone else.

Katana Salon has exceeded all of my expectations. I love it there! Mona is an exceptionally gifted hair stylist! Mona started cutting my teenage son's curly hair and I so much loved how she did it, that I started going to her and now my Mom does too! I have lived in with for 30 years and have been going to them for at least 14 years. I now live in Tewksbury and still make the drive there. Love the 24 hr drop off!! I love the owners and the staff. Always a friendly smile. Wouldn't bring my things anywhere else.

The professional and caring service we received from Lane’s funeral home was outstanding . It was my first time having to deal with a death situation and the worst time in my life to arrange for my Husband’s final wishes….Rob was terrific to work with - available when ever I had a question - or his good suggestions even up to picture placement ! Our son Michael started at Elite Freestyle Karate in Arlington when he was just 6 years old. He’s now 14, earned his black belt a few years ago, and is still training and progressing toward his next degree. Looking back, enrolling him was one of the best decisions we’ve made as parents.
When he started, he was an impulsive kid who often ignored rules. The changes didn’t happen overnight — they were gradual, steady, and real. Over the years, we saw him become more focused, more organized, and much more disciplined. That discipline carried over into school, homework routines, and even other activities like swimming. Karate didn’t just improve his physical fitness — it helped shape his character.
The sensei truly deserve recognition. They treat students with respect, set high standards, and genuinely care about each child’s growth. They are supportive but firm, and they consistently reinforce the values of discipline, responsibility, and perseverance. The black belt tests were demanding — especially during COVID, when everything became harder — but the instructors guided the students through those challenges with consistency and integrity.
When the Arlington dojo closed, we didn’t hesitate to continue in Winchester. We now drive three times a week because the culture and instruction are worth it. Michael never wanted to quit — and that says a lot about the environment they’ve created.
If you have a young child — especially one who needs help channeling energy and learning discipline — I would absolutely recommend Elite Freestyle Karate. For our family, it has been an incredible seven-year journey, and it continues.

We've been fortunate to have Ambrose take school photos of our children for years. They are consistently fantastic. Our oldest child chose them to take her senior photos and they were easy to work with, very flexible and even added in a family shoot. Priscilla went above and beyond to make sure she captured many different poses and backgrounds and we couldn't be happier with the gorgeous photos. Highly recommend!

Different customers have different experiences and we’ve only had good ones . We had a cracked pipe a month ago as we moved into a new rental . Bob was quick, efficient and kind in explaining what happened, how it was fixed and what to do to avoid it. This time it was the toilet and tub both with issues. Mark came by replaced all the needed parts and both are working as good as new. I’d highly recommend them for any work in the metro north area .
