“Williams Construction Services did a large project for us: finishing an attic space, a full bathroom remodel, replacement of cabinetry in another bathroom, and adding a mudroom space. Ed gave us a thoughtful quotation, outlining all the work that was included. He organized all the trades, all the inspections, and completed a complex job in a reasonable amount of time without being intrusive. His team were all polite and cleaned up every day. His recommended solutions were excellent. Ben is meticulous and did excellent work with the carpentry and the cabinet installations. Everything came out great. Libby is a fantastic manager, and was very responsive. As the work progressed, there were inevitable changes, and she was very professional in handling change orders. We are so pleased with the work they did, it is of the highest quality. We highly recommend Williams construction.“

“A&A did a great job replacing the rubber roof over my sunroom. In estimating the job, Sean spotted potential problems that other contractors missed. It cost a little more, but the additional work will extend the life of the rest of my home’s roof.

When the crew arrived for the job, they took special care to ensure that our flower garden was not harmed. The crew was efficient removing and disposing of the old roofing. When the roofing was stripped it revealed rot on some of the underlying structure, Eric, the crew leader showed me the damage and explained what it would take to fix the problem. The contract covered such a contingency The job was supposed to take a day but the additional extended the work time. None the less, Aurel and the crew stayed until the job was done—a 12 hour day!

Everything was cleaned up at the end. The roof looks great.

“This review is long overdue. Richard Reed is the owner of North Shoe Tile and Marble Co. Way back in 2014 he replaced the tile of our entire first floor at our home in N.Reading. He demo’d the old floors and completed everything in a week and a half. It looked great then, and still looks great. We couldn’t have been more satisfied.Now fast forward to 2020. Finally time to redo all the tile in our master bath.He ripped out original fiberglass shower unit, and redid the whole thing in tile. Also re-tiled bath floors and tub surround. Again, the project came out fantastic.He’s been in the business a long time. “Barrowclough came highly recommended, especially Paul Newman. I had seen his work at a couple homes. It was perfect. When it was time for us to do a major renovation, we invited them to give us a quote with other contractors. We ultimately chose them, although they were not the lowest quote. We chose to leave our home during construction to give them freedom to do their thing. Not only did Paul work quickly and efficiently, but during the job, he called frequently to keep me updated, and he came up with ideas to make the space more usable and modern. Rather than keep 2 old fashioned pantries, he had an idea to pull off the doors and order cabinet frames and doors and extend the kitchen into the hallway. He pulled out the insides and reengineered them to our custom specs. The result was that for minimal cost (hundreds of dollars) we got much more functionality and efficiency. We ended up adding to the kitchen and dining room job. What did we add? We removed popcorn ceiling, painted hallways and stairwell, painted master bath and bedroom, redid two upstairs bathrooms and more. We came home to a new house in April 2021 just as covid is (hopefully) winding down. What a gift Paul is. I'm happy to show the work that Paul and his crew did. He employs the best subcontractors and partners with them to ensure they are working together well. You can't go wrong with Paul and Barrowclough. Paul is a master carpenter. I would give it 5 stars, if I knew where to post that!“
