Her prescriptions were quite complicated and fittings took a great deal of timeBill always made her feel comfortable and made the appointments a special occasion.I told him that she could choose her own frames from the age of three, and we talked beforehand about which ones would be best for her to select from, he was most helpful, kind and patient. One of the things my daughter enjoyed the most after choosing her frames was getting to select her glasses case after her final fitting.Since our appointments took a bit of time I got to watch Bill interact with many other clients, all of whom seemed to view him as a friend, as our family does.So if you want professional and friendly service go to Designer Optical for a great selection of frames and highly personalized service.“

“I have got eye test done before couple of times in other places but they were not as detailed as Vision North. The way my doctor asked me to choose between different powered glasses by even comparing them side my side in same view using the machine was really helpful, and made it very easy to choose between them, by not even switching the different power glasses (in which i would have to remember the last view) or blinking my eyes. Never seen any other place doing this. The guy who helped me select my frame was also helpful and spent time with me patiently to look over frames online and select the best one for me.“

“I had purchased a beautiful Zegna frame online from SmartBuyGlasses and had them fulfill a prescription from my ophthalmologist's office. I turned out that the online measurements were off and my PD was incorrect and the glasses sent were difficult to wear. Since SmartBuys' solution was to pick new frames, I searched for a local optician who would be willing to cut new lenses for them. I found Drizik and traveled into speak with Umberto. He discovered the incorrect PD, verified the prescription and was able to recut the lenses. I was so happy, that I had him cut computer version for me of the prescription. Both pairs are a perfect fit and very comfortable to wear. Stellar service from him and the lab. Rest assured I now know where to go in the future. You can't go wrong at this shop.“
“I went in for contacts and glasses. I had a pleasant experience there overall.I think i selected 10 pairs of frames that I liked, the lady at the front desk came and hand me one single frame to try. I end up going with that. They know what they doing there. Very happy with this place.“

“What a hidden gem! My son's frames were broken beyond repair, I pulled up and searched for some sort of glasses in an hour for he cannot go without because he isn't able to see. When I placed the call the person on the phone was super super amazing! Very polite and understanding.. was trying to see if she had a frame that could fit the lenses.. she said to come in and she might be able to get something for him even if temporary.. well she was able to get the lenses to pop into a frame, and scheduled him an eye exam for the following week. All in all we were in and out with in 15 min! Just noticed that the individual that helped us her name is Shellee, she is the owner and honestly I will be moving my own eye care needs to her as well! If I could give her 10+ stars I would! Honest individual and privately owned!“

“Winthrop Eye Center is where its at! I got my eyes checked today, and the whole team was incredible! The last time I got my eyes checked was 5 years ago at another office, and I had such a horrible experience I refused to go back until it was absolutely necessary. My glasses have been crooked for over a year, and my vision recently declined, so I decided to make an appointment at WEC based off a friends recommendation - and they did not disappoint! Dr. Gerow was so nice and helpful, and really made sure I got the right prescription I needed. I was upset to change frames since I've had my old pair for 5+ years now, and the WHOLE office helped me choose the right frame to take home! Also, their lovely office dog Becker was so sweet! My glasses were ready within an hour to pickup, and they even sent me home with a hand written card signed by the whole office. I HIGHLY recommend checking out Winthrop Eye Center.“

“I just moved here from NJ where I was very happy with our eye care doctor. I thought he was the best. But Dr. Schaeffer at Cannon was even better. She was so thorough and friendly and took her time explaining options and setting up recommendations and meetings with specialists for a particular issue I was having, as well as making a routine exam interesting and informative and actually fun. And also everyone else on staff was so friendly: when I came in again with my son, it already felt like home.“

I enjoy going to this location. Only down side, they no longer supply Masshealth glasses which they did not share when booking the appointment. So we waiting to speak with someone about glasses for a while for them to let us know we’d need to go to a different store.“

“Talk about the last art of personal customer service! I got new progressive lenses here and the distance was fine but I could not read with them at all. Kevork was super patient and told me he thought I might have the wrong prescription. I went back to my eye doctor, and sure enough--she'd made a mistake. Kevork gave me corrected lenses with the new prescription at no extra charge. He *really* cares that you get the right glasses, with the right fit and that they work for you. This place is awesome!“
