I’ve had some truly awful tenants in the past—looked like they’d been ice skating on my hardwood floors, leaving deep, sharp gouges. I know I should’ve fixed it right away, but I waited a few years, which only made the damage worse.
The hardwood floors are original and they’d already been sanded several times, so I thought they were beyond saving. Martin assured me there was still life left in them—and he was right. “NEDC completed remodeled our bathrooms about nine years ago, and they have held up great. But recently one of the rollers on the shower door broke. I contacted them just to see if they could identify the parts we neeeded and where to get them, but they went much further, finding the part and vendor in their records, working with the vendor to find a replacement, and had it sent to our house (at no cost). I was able to do the repair myself, but NEDC made it clear they would send someone to help if needed. It's a big relief to know that even after 10 years, as things age and wear out, we can go back to NEDC for help keeping things like new.“
