Mark Little asked us if the WBNA needed any help with the City of Boston sponsored “Love your Block” event. We had over 70 volunteers from our community help cleanup some 40 acres of our neighborhood, and Abacus sent a truck and 2 helpers to spread bark mulch in our tree pits. They arrived on time, fixed the door and frame in a few hours. Thanks to you and your workers, my. door works even better than it did.
Recently a storm blew a few shingles off the roof of the house. I'm 88, and wasn't going to get on the roof to fix it. I called contractors they said the job was too small for them. When I called Alcantara Construction he said he was doing a job in the area and would stop by and look at it. Before I knew it him and his workers had a ladder on the roof, fixed it, and left. I never received a bill. Thank you so much!!! I will recommend you and your workers to anyone.

I’ve had some truly awful tenants in the past—looked like they’d been ice skating on my hardwood floors, leaving deep, sharp gouges. I know I should’ve fixed it right away, but I waited a few years, which only made the damage worse.
The hardwood floors are original and they’d already been sanded several times, so I thought they were beyond saving. Martin assured me there was still life left in them—and he was right. I had tenants in the home at the time, which made things tricky, but he worked in two phases to accommodate everyone.

“Kelly's Property Services installed seven large Marvin Ultimate windows on the front our home (3 large bay windows along with casement and picture windows) to replace the original 40 yr-old windows. Dennis’s carpentry team took care of the window removal and installation, and Scott’s painting team painted all the windows on the inside, and did some additional interior and exterior house painting. We were very happy with the management of the project - Dennis and Scott were very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had, and they coordinated the project throughout so there was no downtime. The carpenters and painters were all terrific - they were meticulous in their work, their end-of-day clean-ups were spotless, and they were all just very nice guys. (Special shout out to Isaias, Alex, Daniel, and Carlos!) They persevered during the 2 hottest weeks of the summer, working full days with no complaints.
