Their knowledge and approach toward the whole body and mind helped me heal some acute pain moments. In this past year with very simple directions and modeling and yoga, J helped me work through painful neck and knee soreness. A month ago after opening a window, I experienced severe pain in my back side muscle area to the point that I could not breathe. This happened on a Friday, I worked with John on Saturday and by Monday I was able to resume full mobility, swimming and gardening, etc.
I am so grateful to have an inside therapy and massage as part of my health maintenance plan for life.“

Certainly, she sped the journey along, relieving the chest pain and muscle ache. Alison is attentive to who you are. She wants to know your goals, how you feel about your body. If you don’t fall asleep, she will tell you about what she feels in your body. She consults with other cranial-sacral therapist on how to best treat patients with a variety of illnesses. She is a punctual professional who cares about her patients. If only everyone could have her as a therapist.“

I have "shopped around" the whole valley for quality yoga instruction and Karuna is it. Paul is a wealth of knowledge and I am being genuine when I say that every class I go to teaches me something new about my body/form and I've been practicing yoga since 2008. It's truly a gem. Paul and also Suzie offer high quality classes and deep knowledge of the practice. (I don't know the other teachers well) They both have years of experience and can differentiate for any body and make everyone feel welcome and included. The studio itself is gorgeous and so conveniently located right on Main St in Northampton. I always leave feeling lighter, better, taller, and more myself regardless of what's going on in my world!“
