I urgently needed to cut out 2 vents in my attic, because I was told by other contractors that it’s getting to wet and moldy in there, so I called Frontier Air and they have already sent me a guy next day ready to do the work with all tools and supplies needed. Artyom was very friendly and picky about protecting my house from making a mess, he took his shoes off inside and put rugs everywhere on his area of work and cleaned up after the work was done. The work was done faster than I expected and ended up being a bit cheaper than the pre-estimated amount! My vents look nice and neat! Thank you Frontier Air HVAC! I will definitely call you again for my future projects!“

“I called Swampscott Refrigeration to inspect my older unit (we have two, one per each floor of our home) as it was blowing cool air, but it wasn't cold. They sent Scott the technician out. He did a great job identifying and resolving the issue - adding freon to the system and tidying up the compressor while he was working on it. I will likely go back to Swampscott Refrigeration when this unit is ready for replacement. Nice job Swampscott Refrigeration and Scott! I really appreciate your service!“

“I contacted David over yelp and explained the issue we were facing with a furnace inducer motor-. David was very responsive and helped troubleshoot the issue with me over the phone. The repair was not urgent so he worked with me to order a part from a supply store as it way much cheaper than the local supplier. Once the part was delivered he installed it and work was completed timely. I had requested a quote from Sila and they were significantly higher. Overall highly recommend them and will use them again for any future heating and cooling system repair work.“

Dave from Freiner came and was very knowledgeable and fixed the leaking shower mixing valve so the leak couldn’t cause further water damage. I have also had the good luck of having Clark and Ken Freiner install a new Burnham boiler a few years ago. Freiner is a family owned company that are honest and professional! They do excellent work and stand behind it, which is rare to find these days.“

Being totally forthright with us, he let us know that based on the building's electric service, the job would not be able to be done legally. I have the most respect for someone in business who knows what they can and cannot do.Biggest regret here is that we can't do business with them based on the dated electric service in the building.“

“Absolutely outstanding! I've had them work on two different boiler issues (one was a conversion from oil to gas, done in 2017; the other was just today after the heat wouldn't go on for a gas boiler in another location). Each time, they did something incredibly rare: they did only what needed to be done, and actually told me that I needed to do less than what the 1st plumber said. (I always get two quotes on a big job, and JM was second.) In the 2017 boiler issue, the 1st plumber said i needed a much bigger and more expensive boiler than i needed, and JM said that wasn't needed, and JM was correct-- JM installed a smaller one and it's been perfect, no issues. And the job today: the 1st plumber said the boiler had to be replaced, but JM said it just needed a tune up and some small repairs. JM is honest as the day is long! I think the world of this company.“

“I didn't want a big name HVAC service, because I knew they would tell me to replace my unit, so I found Chambers through word of mouth. Stephen not only cleaned out my heat pump, but he found A LOT of problems while working on my unit (enough to reduce my Eversource bill significantly). He and his brother, Kevin (two of the friendliest, most salt-of-the-earth guys) also reinstalled a thermostat that was put in improperly. It was the kind of business I wanted - no overselling, good work, straight-forward business. I was expecting a bill that would break the bank. I couldn't believe how fair they were with their price. Chambers is my new Heating and A.C service, and I highly recommend them to everyone I know. Don't go with the big businesses - go with these guys. They're local, they're smart, and they know exactly what they're doing. They made time for me, even though they had 24-unit builds to work on. That's dedication.“
