Starting a home renovation project can be an intimidating experience. However, from our initial meeting, Jimmy made everything easy. He patiently explained the process in detail, provided a clear estimate - outlining the steps, costs and what I would be responsible for purchasing - and, answered my multiple questions along the way. Once they started the job, Jimmy proactively communicated with me to provide status updates and to help address any hiccups that arose along the way (i.e., Lowes delivered the wrong bathtub. Within minutes, Jimmy had coordinated with the plumbers to order and pick up a new one for me the next day, using their discount!). Most importantly, he was very forthcoming about anticipated timing for project completion and managed to finish the job even earlier than expected! The entire crew was friendly and absolutely meticulous. Everything from the beautiful tile work to the plumbing job (relocating to an interior wall) to the electrical and the perfect paint job indicated that the crew takes pride in their work. They did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend Versatile Builders. My small Cape bathroom now rivals any spa!“

“First snowstorm of the season and the new snow guy I hired was a no show. Not a good way to start off winter!! I saw Mike's post for snow removal on a Quincy Facebook page and contacted him. True to his word he came down the next day and had to use a snow plow, snow blower and shovel to clear all the hard frozen snow. The equipment was top of the line and Mike was polite, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. I was really stuck; I couldn't even open my door because of the snow drifts and I never thought I would find someone reliable and hardworking and Mike is all of this and more. Thank you.“

“I worked with William last week. I've worked with his dad since 1998. They did a sensational job. They made an old wood floor look new. It really shines. They even got some rough areas to shine that had been under carpets soaked from older dogs. William is very easy to work with, accommodating to my schedule and needs, and most of all, they did a terrific job. In the past, they did a job for me to sand the hard wood until tiles that were removed. But the floor under the tiles needed to be replaced. They replaced the flooring right on the spot that day, and did a terrific job for incredible price. I am already planning to use Alpha Sanding again next year, when I m away. I know the job will be complete when I return and I would be surprised if I wasn't thrilled with their work.“

“I had the pleasure of Garage Floor Coating of Boston installing a coating last year and they did an amazing job. I compared their prices to their competition and they delivered a fantastic product at a better price. Every part of the process from quote to install was well communicated, delivered and exceeded my expectation.

At no fault of theirs I had to have some work done to my garage and unfortunately the floor was damaged in one small area. I felt bad and wasn't sure that they would do such a small repair. To my great surprise they quickly returned my call and came out right away and professionally fixed the small damaged area. You cannot even tell they ever repaired it. The communication, service and results for repairs were also exceptional.

“I hired TempCo floors to resurface my 1008sf home and lay new flooring in the kitchen and dinning room in preparation to list it for sale. They worked with my schedule to plan it two months out. The owner, Matt, was impressively responsive throughout the whole process. He answered all my questions and responded quickly.

When it came time to do the work, I stopped in the check on the progress and the workers stopped and was proud to show their work. Which gave me confidence in hiring them.
