I've used Forest Keepers three times in the past year or so (I have lots of trees), and I have to say that they are professionals. On time. They do what they say they are going to do. And their rates are competitive. Furthermore, because of their equipment they can get into tight spaces with minimal effort on your part.

I have recently become a client at Milan in Lawrence, KS. I was really uncertain and on the fence before signing up because of the expense and some of the requirements (no sun exposure) but the communication was strong and they really push you to try if for free. Even though I was exasperated, I am so glad they didn't relent because after 2 sessions I have significant hair reduction and am so excited for more treatments! The technician, Nicole, is just the absolute best and really makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire session. The front staff have been so kind and friendly. The laser itself is not pleasant in some areas but it's not extremely painful either. In someplaces I havent felt it at all! It's mildly uncomfortable for a short period of time in certain areas (not the ones you think!) and Nicole is really attentive to your pain level and helps get you through those "spicy" moments! I would recommend Milan for anyone who wants a lifetime guarantee on being hair free. It's more expensive than other places but I won't ever have to worry about hair growing back and having to pay for more treatment. I gave 4 stars because it was significantly more expensive than what my friends have paid for full body at other places and I never thought I would pay this much but so far I am so happy with my results and experience and I hope by this time next year, after about 10 sessions 5 weeks apart, I won't be shaving anymore!

I usually don’t post reviews but have been so incredibly impressed with Carmen! When I first met her my hair was a mess after a terrible dye by a previous stylist in another town. I practically threw myself at her sight unseen because my hair was so bad… and I don’t even really care about my hair. She made me an appointment and I decided to go with atypical color-blue. I’d historically been a basic brown for my entire life but wanted to try something out there. My big fear was looking like a cheap box home attempt but man did she come through! She gave me beautiful blue highlights with dark lowlights that look both fresh and edgy but I can also pull off professionally. I get compliments everywhere I go, and every time I come in wanting to try something different she makes it 100 times better than I’d imagined. She is truly an artist. My color also lasts 10-12 weeks and is just as good at the end as the beginning, I kid you not. I cannot recommend this salon enough! Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

I've been going to Tish for over 30 years. Started as a freshman in college. I was a travel nurse for several years and got my haircut by many others. I always came back to Tish! She is excellent and giving the style you want. And when you're not sure, she has suggestions that fit your lifestyle and your asthetic. Plus she is a wonderful human being.
Lauren provides a divine deep tissue massage. She has a wonderfully intuitive understanding of the body and the strength to get after problem spots. Absolutely my favorite masseuse, and I've seen them all over the world.
There is a puzzling divergence between the few unhappy Yelp reviews of Dash Salon and the large number of unanimously five star reviews on Google. But the Yelp reviews are not recent, so perhaps there has been a change at Dash. The location is somewhat of a problem. Dash is located in a building that includes Harmony Chiropractic and Rueschoff Security. But the neon sign on the street mentions only those two business and not Dash. In addition, the entrance to Dash is at the back of the building, so easily overlooked. Ashley from Salon Renew has moved to Dash. She is an excellent nail tech. Since Salon Renew has closed, I just went to Dash for a pedicure with my wife who got a manicure. As always, we were very happy with Ashley's work. We cannot comment on the hair styling or massage at Dash, since we have not tried them yet. But the facility is upscale and excellent. I would recommend giving it a try (if you can find it).
Lexie does a fantastic job explaining her process, different styling options, and product recommendations. She is an especially great choice for a curly cut. The salon is incredibly welcoming and relaxed. I highly recommend!

Specifically when working with Cara I know I can trust her work. She is always asking my input and gets it done with such professionalism. She is sure to check up on my older work she's done to ensure there's no problems. She is the best artist I've found in Lawrence. If you are looking for black and grey, solid line work, and an artist who can assist with you vision you've got to reach out to Cara. I could not recommend her more!

My experience was great. My technician was prompt, friendly and explained everything he was doing and what was found. He also discussed possible solutions for my problem and worked quickly to fix the problem and cleaned up the mess for me. This was my first time using Chaney Services. I’ve had 2 other companies out trying to resolve an odor surrounding one of my upstairs bathrooms for months. The last plumber charged me an outrageous amount to replace a broken toilet not used for months, we thought may be the culprit. Did not resolve. Our HVAC guy cleaned and inspected our system and told us to call someone else in plumbing. Chaney was recommended to me by a co worker and I’m so thankful I called. Brian was here just a matter of minutes and asked if he could open our space below our systems in the garage. Come to find out builder never installed a p trap where our systems drains. Brian was the first person in 7 years to tell me my drain should never be empty, his first indication something was wrong. He quickly brought it up to code and fixed the plumbing. Within an hour after his departure the odor started to go away downstairs and we are hardly smelling anything upstairs now. Thank you Brian for taking the time to listen to me. I was starting to think i was imagining something was wrong. Services were more then affordalde and customer service was beyond excellent. Going forward I will be calling Chaney for all of my plumbing needs.

I called last Friday, needing the closer bathroom for post-surgery on Thursday. They came out Monday, fixed my toilet and even repaired the sink- a problem I didn’t tell them about until they arrived. A friend was supposed to fix that over the weekend (but didn’t) which is why I didn’t tell them about it when I first called. Everything is fixed, now- I couldn’t be more pleased. They were friendly and professional, and fast- the whole thing only took an hour and a half.

Bought a used washer and dryer. Washer came with a small leak, which Stoneback fixed right away. But in the same call I told them the “check vent” light was on and there was A LOT of lint in the catcher when it was delivered, so I thought it might just need vacuumed out. This suggestion was ignored by the technician that showed up and I was advised the roof vent must be clogged but it would probably be fine if I just ignored it. Within a few days I saw an ad on tiktok for a vacuum attachment and brush specifically for getting into the lint catching area of a dryer. I thought I’d try vacuuming it myself. I bought the little kit, used the brush to scrub the lint out and the attachment to vacuum it up, and wouldn’t you know! A full vacuum canister of lint later- The light turned off and hasn’t turned back on again! I sure am glad I didn’t believe the tech, doing so would’ve maintained an increased fire risk. Maybe take customer suggestions a little more seriously if they seem applicable and kinda easy to test.

We had 3 pretty grotty area rugs we inherited. Not a fan of throwing stuff out if we don't have to. Hubby cleaned them all and while cleaner, just not bright enough. My bff had her carpet cleaned by Stanley steamer and wow! Her carpet looks great so I figured what the heck, call! Intake man was super friendly and had a sale going: 3 rugs for 129.00. This sure beats the 1,100.00 I was quoted by another company. They came out the next day! Drew and Steve steam cleaned all 3 rugs in under an hour. Both were very professional and respectful of our home. They gave us all the information we needed for care after their departure. LOOK AT THIS! OMGOSH!!!!! This rug turned out gorgeous! It looks freaking brand new! Same with the other 2! The colors are vibrant again! It's CLEAN!!! Just so you're aware, this is a Sears & Roebuck company rug so it's old as all get out and it looks fantastic! So impressed! Okay, I don't understand why there are any negative reviews on this company. I found them to be exceptionally professional and experienced, paying great attention to detail. I was also impressed by their neatness. I saw one of the guys blowing off the grass near the place where he had been sawing - c'mon, who does that? When the painters were here, I seriously thought about asking one of them if they were required to take a customer care class in order to get hired. In all I met probably a dozen different workers (won't name names for the sake of privacy), with each one possessing the qualities mentioned above. Lastly, speaking of quality, their work is top notch. We've already signed up for a kitchen remodel, and now that we've seen their work, we are even more excited to get going on that project. Oops, one more thing, their office staff is great as well. Very eager to help and explain invoices or whatever.

Bracciano Pest Control does a tremendously thorough job, and is ALWAYS on time! I have used BPC for two years now via my landlord at the tiny house I rent, and have been very impressed with how thorough the service is. I also appreciate talking with the man who comes to my house about his pup; we both have young doodle mixes. I would recommend Bracciano to anyone, and am sad to be leaving my rental as I am not sure my next landlord uses BPC. Scott Weakley has been our Schendel tech for quite a while now and he has been doing a fantastic job!
One thing that has been especially impressive began with our site move the end of March. Not only did he have to deal with the changes of learning a brand new building/determining the best placement for his equipment, we quickly learned about a very excessive brown recluse infestation. When I got a hold of him on his cell phone, he took our needs very seriously, changed our inspection and treatment date into a time frame that better suited our immediate needs. I was very impressed with how much he understood the nature of the problem and how to most effectively tackle the problem.
Scott had our infestation under control in just the couple of months it required to saturate the new location appropriately and he continues to check in on our status every single month. He is on time, comes when he says he will be here and leaves our place safe and operational.
In addition to Scott’s thorough coverage of our building, he has also has a very friendly and kind demeanor. It’s awfully nice to see solid customer service still be held to a high standard.

Solid choice of landscaping company to work with in Lawrence. They are likely the best around for plant knowledge and even have their own plant nursery with a ridiculous variety of plants and seemingly infinite wisdom. Also, Tyler is super handsome.
We recently had GreenTouch cut down two old and big elm trees in our back yard. The trees were surrounded by landscaping on all sides and could only be accessed by climbing. The team did an amazing job. A team member, Patricio, was a skilled climber and knew just where to cut the limbs and how to descend them to the ground where the rest of the team guided them to avoid other plantings and cut them up quickly for removal. They carefully cleaned up all debris and left our yard in great shape. We could not have asked for better service. We have used GreenTouch for other lawn services and recommend them to others.
Jack Bell and his crew are so great to work with. TurfMasters put in our irrigation and sod for our new build and it is great. Would recommend them to anyone that needs the services they provide

Great team, amazing service! They went out to evaluate the trees on the same day I called, and were able to schedule service within the week. They removed our old hackberry tree which had started leaning on the house, and trimmed up the hedge apple & other trees around the home as well. If we need anything in the future, we'll be calling them for sure. Thank you Cuinn & Team!
I've used Forest Keepers three times in the past year or so (I have lots of trees), and I have to say that they are professionals. On time. They do what they say they are going to do. And their rates are competitive. Furthermore, because of their equipment they can get into tight spaces with minimal effort on your part.
We had three mature trees trimmed on our property. Two of them were inaccessible for their machinery. They climbed the trees like it was nothing and guided large branches down with ropes. Their great team work resulted in no damage to fencing and near by structures. Sunrise Tree Care did an excellent job cleaning up everything as well! I highly recommend them.

I recently hired Ryan and the Lawrence Arborists team to take care of some tree trimming and cutting down a large dead tree in my front yard. I couldn't be happier with the results! Great work and they left my yard clean and tidy. Ryan was so helpful and guided me through the process and educated me on how to continue to maintain my trees and their health. I highly recommend Ryan and his team at Lawrence Arborists to anyone in need of tree services. I'll definitely be using them in the future!

Dr. Van Boening is phenomenal. I’m extremely picky when it comes to doctors, as I want to ensure they’re the best of the best and experts in their field, so I can say without a doubt that Dr. VB is a savant. I struggle with TMJ/TMD and lockjaw issues, and Dr. VB and his assistant Nicole have taken complete and total care of me through it all. He possesses a deep knowledge of all things mouth- and jaw-related, so I feel thoroughly taken care of in his hands. Could not recommend him more:)

He had an emergency and we are not from there and didn’t know of any dentist so our son walked in (closest clinic to his apt) urgently and they saw him right away and did a fantastic job. I chose this Dental Studio because Bridget, the Hygienist, had been my hygienist 20+ years ago when we both lived in another city. I recalled she was the best hygienist I had ever been to. Went here upon recommendation from a friend. Dr. Kissinger is a lovely, polite man who knows his practice well. He does a great job explaining things and he's very up front about the cost of service. I decided to go to a chiropractor on a whim and I'm glad I did. He showed me clearly what problems I had and having alignments has improved my health greatly.

Thankful to have found Dr. Charlie after moving to Lawrence. She is a great chiropractor, always learning and researching a variety of topics and I love to ask questions and learn from her. Also, love getting massage, cupping and infrared sauna sessions here. She also does kinesiology taping and that has helped me so much.

I have been going to CPH for a lot of years. 7 pet dogs in all. Everything from allergies, bad backs to cushing's disease, and dementia. They have always been there to help us navigate the well being of our pets. They make us feel like family.

Get your pet's vaccinations here. Dr. Lewis is an old school vet who doesn't advertise and won't ask for your email address to spam you or sell products. I enjoyed my visit!
There's not enough space for me to give an accurate account. The staff love what they do. They are kind, proficient, generous and respectful. They are good about letting you know when a procedure is best served by one of the more heavily-equipped animal hospitals. They do not up-sell. They are very popular, so it can be difficult to make a same-day appointment, but when an emergency occurs, they will bend over backwards to take care of your friend.
I brought my friend’s dog in for an exam about an extreme issue, and Dr Bradley was extreme kind and gentle. I would fully recommend this hospital for their services to anyone I know. I have never met a vet so kind and knowledgeable. Thank you for what you could do for Sumo.

I'm an overweight male who has in the past not had good experiences with yoga, mostly because of my own issues. Taking classes at the Yoga Center has changed everything for me. While there is always an expectation that you try, that you give it your best, there's also no judgment when you can't do things like other people in the class. Yoga is supposed to be about you and your mat, and that's what it feels like. Also, I've had several good and talented yoga instructors, but words fail me in trying to explain what Anne Underwood is like as a teacher and mentor. She's quite simply the best. If you are on the fence about yoga, come try this. Seriously.

Received therapy from Tom for ART and came out feeling rejuvenated and mobile.
I had so much tension and areas of muscle strain he was able to release a majority of these areas in an hour and a half.

At the end of each session I almost feel like I'm in a trance. Teyolia Spa is both tranquil and inviting, a beautifully curated space that feels like it's JUST for you. I always look forward to picking out a new add-on for an even more personalized experience. I highly suggest enjoying the shower and tea as well. This past appointment I chose the Mexican hot chocolate and it was divine. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Teyolia Spa, but more importantly, I cannot express just how much Jessica helps me physically through her bodywork and spiritually through her energy. 10 stars.
