Water Heater Installation/Repair in Northbrook

“My water heater failed in the middle of the night by spewing steam and leaking into its drip pan. The main water valve had to be shut off due to constant filling of the tank. I scheduled Reliance to install a new one for the following afternoon. If Reliance had no availability I would have had no water for several days possibly. All I had to do was go buy a new water heater of my choice and they would do the rest. Brian the plumber arrived on time and installed the new water heater perfectly. The quality of the work is second to none.“

“While cleaning up last night, the sinks suddenly became totally clogged. Plunging not only did not work, it blew out the P-trap under the sink and then we had water everywhere! I called Mergenthaler Plumbing this morning and they were able to get Edin out to me this afternoon.

He quickly diagnose the problem (goofy, poorly fitting tubes, caulked together under the sink!), and he’s was able to fix the problem easily. Also identified why our dishwasher wasn’t draining completely.

So wonderful to have my kitchen back in less than 24 hours!“
