Water Heater Installation/Repair in Des Plaines

“The team at Green Tech is amazing! My wife and I bought a place that needed a lot of TLC, and along with needing a new water heater, we were having some major issues with the 100ish year old sewer line and a nasty smell in the house. The guys were able to fix the sewer line, replace the water heater, and find and fix the source of the smell (a break in the soil stack between the first and second floor). So grateful for all of their hard work and for keeping the costs way lower than anyone else we talked to!!“

Most recently, his son installed a new garbage disposal for us. After he completed the job, he showed me how to change the filter cartridge that is under my kitchen sink, for my hot-water dispenser. “We recently had a new furnace and A/C unit installed by BRC this week. They were quick and efficient, but didn’t replace our 25 year old forced air humidifier on our new furnace(which are basically useless), but still, they should have replaced the humidifier being 25 years old. I’m sure the new April-air forced air humidifiers are much better 25 yrs later. That was our only gripe.
They installed a 2.5 ton DuCane A/C unit replacing our 2 ton Trane, I was surprised the CFM(fan motor speed) didn’t have much of a difference from our 25 year old, 2 ton Trane unit? Well that’s something to be noted about “Trane”, they’re basically bulletproof, and as the motto goes, “nothing stops a Trane” is True.
We did notice a huge decrease in our electric ⚡️ bill.
It use to be $500-550 a month in the summer months, now with the new DuCane Seer 16, our electric bill is 280$ a month. The efficiency over 25 years was amazing!!
When you come back to do our routine yearly cleaning(I’ve already had to clean all the radiator fins because of our dryer air exhaust is 4 inches from our A/C unit) we’ll discuss maybe switching out the humidifier.

“Jeremy and Jacob were awesome. My parent’s furnace went out and they were able to accommodate us last minute and at a reasonable price. They worked with us siblings, arrived on time and replaced the furnace in 4 hours. Chicago is unpredictable when it comes to weather, so gives us peace of mind our parents will be warm and have a new furnace that last hopefully for the next 5-10 years. I highly recommend them and we all agreed as homeowners, we would work with them again. They took the old unit, cleaned everything up as well. They take payments right on their phone, super easy.“
