“Rob and Ovi are great at what they do!Rob trained me with very carefully thought out plans. They create a fun atmosphere and the music is motivating. The equipment is very clean and their variety is quite different from the ones with any other gym.Rob understands the requirements and goals and designs the workout plans accordingly.Good parking space available.“

I definitely put in a lot of hard work but I wouldn't have been able to do this without the support from the staff here. Tom is a great Trainer and has been dedicated to help me achieve my fitness goals! He knows how to challenge you and sends you weekly workouts you can do on your own time as well. Bart does an amazing time to start you with the process and pairs you with a trainer that would work for you. They know exactly how to start you off so it's up to you if you are willing to put in the work to achieve your goals. It's definitely worth it! That is a point, as every person has a different goal and different path to reach those goals. Josh will coordinate a program that works for you.In general, I have been minimally fit and have always wanted to truly grow in fitness. “Ron was my personal trainer for a little over a year. Prior to working out with Ron, I was ignorant on what it takes for someone to not only have a healthy diet, but more importantly, a healthy lifestyle. In addition, I was unaware of how just important it was to incorporate lifting weights in your workouts. I was that girl whose mindset was, “cardio is key in order to lose weight.” I didn’t know what it meant to be fit.It wasn’t until Ron became my personal trainer when I gained the knowledge I have today on what it really takes to get into shape. During my time with Ron is when I was in the best shape of my life and truly saw my body transform. For me, the impossible honestly became possible. Ron pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of, however, never pushed me too far. He was always so understanding and patient and never forced me to work at a pace that I was uncomfortable at. My endurance increased tremendously and I consistently saw progress on my weight lifting. Every week, Ron would either have me increase the weights, increase my sets and/or do super sets. We would always focus on a different muscle group every week and he constantly changed up my workouts so my body never got used to the same thing. As I mentioned above, the transformation and muscle growth I saw my body have while having a more positive mindset and lifestyle was all thanks to Ron. If you are thinking or considering having Ron as your personal trainer, I promise you won’t be disappointed.“

“Love love love this gym! I’ve gone to a couple of F45 studios and Oak Brook is by far top notch. The studio environment is very friendly, trainers are motivating, and the facilities are well kept. I have been a member of this studio for a couple of months and participated in one of their many member focused events. Coach Johnny Alanis has shown exemplary customer service by guiding and supporting me on a fitness lifestyle change. His knowledge of fitness and health exceeded my expectations. If you haven’t tried a class at F45 Oak Brook, I highly recommend!“

F45 challenges you, they help get you out of your comfort zone, but still help you modify, if needed. The coaches are fun, helpful and helpful. I feel guilty when I miss a class. “I was looking for a personalized holistic training approach including physical workouts and nutritional guidance. Tommaso setup a 12 week program for me around these needs and I was very happy with the process and results and I then signed up for a second 12 week engagement (currently happening at the time of this review).Everything is virtual which allows a lot of freedom and the ability to maintain our workout schedule when I’m traveling by bringing a minimal amount of gear. I was initially skeptical of a virtual approach but after speaking with his prior clients and experiencing it for myself it has proved great - don’t let this hold you back.Workouts are tailored to my level and abilities and address aches and pains when they arise.The nutritional coaching has been key for me as we review my weekly eating habits and tweak things slowly over time to eliminate unhealthy cravings with healthy substitutions and mental awareness of eating decisions.I wanted a realistic all around approach to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I have done my share of extreme diets and workout regimens which work for a while but aren’t sustainable. Tommaso is focused on realistic long term strategies that will work long into the future and that is what I’m getting.I highly recommend working with Tommaso to tailor a program for you and achieve your specific goals.“

“How to begin. Nick is extremely knowledgeable and carefully customizes each fitness regimen and meal plan for each of his clients. Nick is obviously really passionate about training because he is incredibly informed about everything. In order to prevent self-injury, he precisely explains what to do and how to perform it during your sessions and gently corrects your form. He makes you feel at ease and conveys that he genuinely cares about his customers and their wellbeing. The best trainer I've ever worked with, in my opinion! You will notice results right away since Nick is the best, and I highly recommend working out with him!“

“Great gym, great training partners and competent owner. Everyone is humble despite level of expertise . As long as you check your ego at the door, this is a great place to learn, grow and develop. What I love vs most MMA gyms, Top Notch has a Full gym that can be utilized (workout equipment-bench, dumbbells, squat rack, TRX, ETC) to compliment the full MMA layout. Which consist of wrestling mats, grappling dummies, punch bags, accompanied by a caged octagon. All a apart of the gym membership. Give it a try risk free prior to spending any $.I live in Lyons IL, its worth the travel for me. Great programs for kids as well.“

“As a mid-thirties emo with a closet full of Vans, I wanted to learn to skateboard, but I was intimidated where to start. I was scared I’d be an adult in a class full of kids with parents watching or there’d only be instruction for skaters who’d been doing it for their whole lives.Enter Ben / Sk8 Chicago. He has such approachable, non-intimidating energy, and made the sign up process really easy.The whole lesson was perfect. I never felt nervous, intimidated, or out of place. Ben started out asking me what my goal was from the lesson, and I told him it was just to feel more comfortable on a board. I thought this may take me several lessons, and, with Ben’s help, I felt comfortable, confident, and sure of myself in an hour. Ben made me feel super comfortable, we went at my own pace with several non-overbearing check-ins with how I was doing, and the hour flew by with a perfect balance of instruction / observation and practice where he watched from a distance so I could get more comfortable on my own. I got to share the space with another adult skateboarder, which added to an already enjoyable experience.Not to mention, set up is insane and impressive. The place is a well-constructed, designed, and executed skatepark with a variety of ramps and other surfaces to do tricks on. You can tell Ben is doing what he loves and is good at, and wants to share it with his community.Thank you, Ben!! Sk8 Chicago is a gem for skaters of all ages.“
