I have taught for many years, and it is obvious to me that Ben is a gifted teacher. He makes learning to skateboard FUN! Ben is positive, gentle, encouraging, caring, and calm. He listens to students when they are not ready to try something new, and he also knows when to encourage students to try a new challenge. When watching videos of Ben's students, it is obvious that they appreciate his affirmation. I have seen students of all ages grow by leaps and bounds in developing their skateboarding skills.

I have been wanting to skateboard since I was a kid. The part of Texas I grew up in did not favor skateboarding or Inline skating. At 37 I have decided to follow my passion and have coupled my love for skateboarding and lessons from SK8 Chicago. I feel as though my progression has been so dramatic because the personal attention the lessons have been. I didn’t know truck from car, now I’m free riding Wilson Skate Park.
