“Did our kitchen and primary bathroom back to back with EXRM. Kitchen first, then the bath started about two weeks after that one wrapped. I watched the cabinet install pretty closely because friends had told me horror stories about doors being uneven or reveals being off. Ours came out perfect. Doors close soft, drawers track straight, everything lines up. For the bathroom we did a custom tile pattern on the shower floor that I sketched out on a napkin during the design phase and they pulled it off basically exactly how I drew it. We found them through a neighbor in Vernon Hills who used them last year for his finished basement bath and ran us through what his project was like. Pricing landed in a fair spot compared to two other detailed quotes we got. The owner stopped by twice during each project to check on things, not just send a text and call it a day.“

“Working with Joel and Unique Deck Builders has been one of the best construction project experiences we're ever experienced. We had to have our deck torn apart and removed to fix a bad roof on a small condo building in Chicago. Joel removed the existing deck and salvaged as much of the materials (mostly outdoor kitchen equipment) as possible, and then entirely rebuilt our rooftop with new Deckorators composite decking and the salvaged items. The finished product is beautiful and much better than what it was before, which had been done by a different rooftop builder originally. All of Joel's team was great to work with!
