“Working with Joel and Unique Deck Builders has been one of the best construction project experiences we're ever experienced. We had to have our deck torn apart and removed to fix a bad roof on a small condo building in Chicago. Joel removed the existing deck and salvaged as much of the materials (mostly outdoor kitchen equipment) as possible, and then entirely rebuilt our rooftop with new Deckorators composite decking and the salvaged items. The finished product is beautiful and much better than what it was before, which had been done by a different rooftop builder originally. All of Joel's team was great to work with! They were all pleasant, fun, interactive, and willing to modify what they were doing to meet both our expectations and their own of themselves. Lastly, Joel himself has been fabulous to work with. He made many stops here before we started to make sure he had a good grasp of what was wanted/needed, and then periodically along the way as the project progressed. “EXRM handled a full kitchen remodel for us. New cabinets, quartz countertops, a redesigned island, and all new flooring throughout the kitchen area. The cabinet doors close smoothly and everything was leveled properly which sounds basic but I've seen remodels where that wasn't the case. The island layout they suggested gave us more counter space without making the kitchen feel cramped. It's functional and it looks really good. The flooring ties everything together in a way we didn't expect.“
