My sister found him, based on reviews and he fixed a problem she had on long drives where only one eye would focus. She had this problem for several years. Then he fixed a problem my other sister had with new glasses from a high-priced Oak Brook optician that gave her difficulty walking down stairs. He immediately knew both solutions. We’ve gone in with broken glasses that he temporarily fixed while we waited and permanently fixed with a replacement lens 5 days later. The best part of doing business here is that I always feel welcomed and important and he always makes me smile. I trust him so much that I will never set foot in another optical shop.“

If you can see past that the rest of my visit was great. Dr. Macek and staff were amazing. Everything was explained in great detail. Linda who helped me with picking out glasses was so pleasant. “Thorough eye exam, and both the eye doctor and his staff explained what equipment was being used and why it was needed. Good selections of frames although I am not an optometrist or an ophthalmologist, but a psychiatrist I trade, I have some knowledge of ocular processing and of structure of the eye and visual processing. Doctor appeared very well, educated and very well-versed in his field, being able to answer all the questions I asked him. His office is very well decorated and pleasant to be in. His office hours are fantastic as most medical staff have very limited office hours these days which I do not know why medical staff do this. I did call his office for a follow up question after my visit, and the message was taken by staff but as of yet 12 hours later, I have not gotten to return call. I’m hoping he calls me in the morning. Dr. Morrison has become my regular optometrist for as long as I need one. He is quite patient focused .“
