They inspected refrigerant levels, cleaned the coils, and ensured the reversing valve was operating correctly. the technician also checked electrical connections and tightened a few that had loosened over time. the system now switches between heating and cooling more smoothly. “Coastal has been my go to since 2018. And today was another example of why. We got home from a week long trip and the house was a sweat box. Mr. J. Dunnaway was dispatched the following day and with some excellent troubleshooting skills found a very subtle hidden problem with some chaffed wires. Which shorted my thermostat controller. What could have been a nightmare to sort. Our hero sorted in less than an relative short time. He could have probably discovered it sooner if the nosy custumer would have not been hovering. We decided to upgrade and go with a new system. We also found with more energy efficient system we qualified for a GA Power rebate and possibly a rate reduction.
Old Coast also provided us with a temporary a/c unit for our bedroom so we could stay in our home with 90* + outside temps.

“We had a ground water source (geothermal heat pump) heat/air system replaced. The geothermal system is the alternative to an air source heat/air system. Because it is a unique system there are not many companies who service or replace these types of heat/air system. However, McCall's HVAC is one of the only companies that do service such units.
