“My wife and I had Jeff Clair from Chief Inspection Services complete a pre-close inspection on our new construction home (Volusia County, FL) in October 2023 and we would HIGHLY recommend his services! Jeff is incredibly detailed and thorough, an absolute wealth of knowledge, and truly leaves no stone unturned while inspecting your home. Jeff caught a handful of code violations, numerous “common sense” issues (not code violations per se, but head-scratcher issues that needed resolution), and many incomplete items across the home/property. Among other issues, Jeff quickly identified issues with the trusses in our attic, both the dryer vent and hood/range vent exhaust systems, the electrical system at the dishwasher and garbage disposal, an irrigation zone not working as expected, a plumbing issue in the master bathroom and much more. The value of the service for the price paid is exceptional - you truly can not put a price on the knowledge that Jeff provides after inspecting your home. We learned A TON and feel far more comfortable purchasing our new home after having Jeff and Chief Inspection Services inspect it with OUR best interests in mind. Jeff comes HIGHLY recommended!“
