“We recently had an entire new tile roof installed by JAL. Family owned, Jose Leyva, the owner was hand on through all facets of the project and inspected daily. They had up to 10 roofers working seam during the removal process from 7am to 7pm.

Everyone was professional and competent. They know their jobs well and each was efficient in their areas of responsibilities. Jose assigned and rotated in specialists for each phase of the work. They communicated with us on a daily basis on what to expect and took time to explain the process throughout each phase of the installation. No question went unanswered. They went through every inch of the old roof and replaced all rotten woods. They use high end top of the line materials. The crew took time to throughly clean up the job site at the end of each day

Most importantly, they are honest and principled organization. They don’t take shortcuts. They do EXACTLY what they said they’d do. We hired an independent roofing inspection to inspect their work through multiple phases of the installation; and not only it passed inspection, our inspector had nothing but high praises for JAL’ s workmanship and quality materials. JAL Roofing doesn’t nickel and dime you. Theres no hidden cost like most roofing companies we interacted with. Their price was competitive. Lastly, their office manager Tianna was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She walked us through the process of selecting the right tiles, paperwork, permits and coordinating logistics.

Paul has been with the company since the 80's and then bought into it. The estimate was reasonable and then the crew came early. They were great. Work content included a complicated structural wall and roof rebuild with architect involvement, replacement of our flat roof including a taper system adding pitch for water drainage, and new fascia and soffit work. “In October 2025 I had Chris from Sun Coast Roofing & Solar give me an estimate on a re-roof and gutter installation. Of the 5 roofing companies who bid on the job, Sun Coast had the lowest bid (which included new 6” gutters) but the only company that would install gutters and the cost was included in his bid. Chris and his crew were very thorough and professional and finished the entire job in 4 days, including getting the final inspection from the city permitting department. They also did not leave a mess in my or my neighbors yard, which made her very happy. My home looks great!“
