They tried to get me to accept the installed unit with a few cursory bonuses (UV light and warranty extension) but I insisted on the original HVAC system I had decided on. They conceded to that decision and reinstalled the correct units promptly. Two disappointments: 1. Air duct cleaning was performed as part of the purchase package, but a very messy trail of debris was left behind, causing a big clean-up on our part; 2. After the initial incorrect install was performed, we were told the company would bring over temporary AC units to cool the house for sleeping. That did not happen for the night it was initially offered, but was for the second night without any AC. Overall, we are satisfied with the product (Daikin) but disappointed of the rocky road it took to get there.”

The other option was to replace the unit given its age. I called Ray with Strategic Air and asked if he could give us an estimate for a new unit. He scheduled an appointment to come out the following day. When he arrived, he asked if it was okay for him to look at the unit to see if he could fix it prior to replacing it. Within approximately five minutes we heard the unit come on and felt cold air blowing from the vents! He saved her so much money by offering to see if he could fix it instead of just assuming that it needed to be replaced! If you are looking for a friendly, experienced, and most importantly honest AC company, I would highly recommend calling Ray with Strategic Air. We will be customers for life!”
