A large, well known HVAC company checked out my (expensive) 7-year old Carrier Infinity unit for icing up. The short version is that they said the unit shouldn’t be repaired for almost $5,000 but replaced for $10,500. I called Mike for a second opinion.
Mike came out that afternoon. Checked and discovered that my unit still had a parts warranty on it. Order the part and he and Ryan replaced it and recharged the system the next day. It’s working like new for under $1,000 for labor and mostly several pounds of expensive Freon.
