“Arriving home after a trip away, I found the interior house temperature to be in the low to mid 80's. The heat-pump system had been set for 75 degrees. The outside unit's fan was running and the interior fan was circulating air, but it appeared the compressor was not running.

I called the Alltemp emergency service number and they notified Jason Hernandez, the on-call technician. Jason called me back appraised the situation and said he thought the problem was a condenser in the heat-pump. Since I was expecting overnight guests within a few hours, I agreed to have him come over for an after-hours service call. He arrived in less than 15 minutes, checked the unit and determined it was, indeed, the condenser.

Jason explained that there were two different condensers. A more expensive one had a five year warranty. The less expensive one was like the original one in the unit which had lasted 10 years. Since I'll be selling the house within the next 6 months, I chose the less expensive condenser.

Jason was friendly, polite and clearly knew what he was doing. He didn't pressure me in any way concerning which condenser to choose. In less than half an hour he had replaced the part and the unit was up and running.

While there, I asked him about servicing a mini-split system which heats and cools a 3-4 season room. He said to call Alltemp for a regular maintenance service and ask to have him dispatched for the job. I will be calling within a few days to schedule Jason back.

Compared to another company who had performed service on the system, I found Alltemp to be capable and very responsive without any high pressure selling.“

“Driver just left my house on a Saturday nite, January 4 at 8:45. They were supposed to deliver earlier today but the original driver had an emergency. We rescheduled for tomorrow but something went wrong with a ticket for tomorrow and one of the drivers said not to worry about it, he would deliver tonite. I don't know his name but he was driver #10880 in truck #PT231. Tho our tank wasn't completely empty, he came to the door to see if we needed help to start it if it needed restarting. Because of him and the help of the after hours on call person who took the call, I give them a 5 star rating. Customer service like that deserves recognition and appreciation. Thank you.“
