It’s not a cheap chop shop, but they are reasonable, and it’s worth paying a couple extra bucks with the reassurance of knowing you’re dealing with professionals who are going to take care of you by providing a high quality cut.

Dr. Fortin is absolutely wonderful, and I’m so grateful to have finally found someone who can help me heal my gut. And Janine is a total rockstar on the phones, she communicates great, and she’s kind, upbeat, and full of life. Everyone else I’ve spoken to in other departments sounds like they’ve taken a sleeping pill, but Janine really stands out. She’s truly an asset to the office.
This was my first time with Ashley and I have to say she is extremely talented as a “stylist.” She understands what you are trying to accomplish and also makes stylistic recommendations To get you to that end. I showed her a few photos, told her the look I was trying to achieve with growing out layers and she took the ball and ran with it— advising me along the way or consulting with me before doing something. Some people give you a haircut. Others impart a stylistic approach. Ashley is clearly Very skilled stylist and those excellent work!

I cannot stress to you how amazing, sweet, flexible and talented Malerie is! My mother was a hairdresser for over 45 years and she retired so I had to find somebody I can trust. I tried a few different ones and they were OK but not the best. She did a highlight, color and low light all at once, and it came out phenomenal. Not only that, she had me done in an hour and 1/2 and the cost was very reasonable! My hair hasn’t looked this amazing in YEARS! I was blown away! Highly recommend!

The space is open, spotless, and has a great atmosphere with good music and welcoming energy. What really stood out to me is how well-rounded the studio is. I get my nails done by Somer at LaBella. Every time I bring in an inspo photo she quite literally nails it! She’s easy to talk to and quick, which I love. I’m always getting compliments on my nails. So I’m from CT and now live in northern Virginia. I had to go drive up last minute to see family. I had the time so I decided to find someone nearby for a trim and touch up and found Shana. I’m so glad I did.
First, the color and cut was exactly what I was looking for and then some. I had some blond highlights with low lights and I was thinking about going a little more natural but brighter. The color was growing out and looked pretty brassy. I let her get a little creative and my hair looked even better than what I expected.
Secondly, she was so fun. I felt like I’ve known her forever. Even if my haircut was just average, I think I’d still go back just to hang out with her.
I can’t recommend Shana enough. Go see her and you won’t be disappointed.

I went to the spa in Glastonbury. The aesthetician was over 15 minutes late. There was no explanation or information given at the front desk. I think it would’ve been appropriate to let me know she was running behind.
The facial was excellent and I rebooked with Vanessa.
The spa called the day before my next appointment to ask if I would be willing to come earlier because they had overbooked. When I showed up, they told me that my aesthetician was in another appointment and I’d have to wait an hour to see her. Apparently, the person that called me the day before never changed the appointment in the system. I was frustrated and left.
The owner called me the next day to apologize and said that they would extend the spring discount if I came at a different time.
I doubt I’ll rebook again. There are so many great spas in CT.

James and Nick have been doing work on our home to upgrade our electrical system. They came to our home on time to first discuss what projects we needed. Their input was very helpful in assisting to determine what types and spacing of ceiling fixtures would work best. We also plan to convert from propane to electric for cooking and hot water which will require upgrading the electrical capacity. James provided a clear to understand explanation and rational for each step of this project and answered our questions. We soon received a detailed proposal for each project that was fairly priced. First step, was to upgrade the electrical system. This was scheduled to be done in a timely manner. James and Nick were prompt, friendly, and professional. Their truck had the necessary parts. One additional part was needed and it was delivered from the warehouse promptly. We are very pleased to be working with a company that provides the services of highly competent and professional tradesmen. We plan to use Delponte for the additional projects that will require skilled trades people and a company that is good to work with.

SM Mechanical from beginning, during and even after the job was completed stayed in contact with us so we knew what was going on. Dereck did a great job cleaning our furnace and hot water heater. He also explained the types of service was available.

He made excellent recommendations during our consultation that completely elevated the space and made it look more sophisticated and functional. Great experience with replacing our existing roof with new architectural shingles. Our house looks great! Chris and his crew were efficient and took great care to protect our patio and deck from falling shingles while removing the old roof. The project was completed in one day which was a key deciding factor for us. Didn’t want to hear hammering for 2 or 3 days. Chris was great to work with and cares about his customers being 100% satisfied.

We moved from Texas, so we were unaccustomed to living in a state with four seasons. We also moved to a home with a large property that had not been tended for many years. Our new neighbors told us that the old owners mowed their lawn twice a year, whether it needed it or not. That is not a joke. The side yard of the property was used as basically a trash heap. We found toilets and cones and drums and broken down bits of who knows what. I mean a lot of of it. The trees were overgrown and they were going to eventually do damage once they got too heavy from the snow or wind.
A friend of ours, here in Glastonbury, recommended Thompson Landscaping. I cannot say enough about how much they have done for us. They have welcomed us like family members and have taught us how to live in at least summer, fall and winter seasons with property like we have.
They have come over regularly to see how we’re doing, make suggestions about things we may not have considered, to pick up trash, to cut down trees, to take out old plants/overgrowth/vines, haul away all that trash, to cut down dying plants/shrubs/bushes, to cut back neglected plants so that they regrow, to overseed the yard, which grew beautifully, to shovel snow, to take away all of the leaves during the fall, to lay down large amounts of mulch, to provide us with firewood, to check our outdoor plumbing (drains), to mow the lawn…but the most important was the day that our wellhead broke.
The power went out for two hours, and when it came back on, we had no water. It began to snow and we tried to fix it ourselves. I called Thompson Landscaping and they came out immediately with a small tractor. Matt dug for hours and hours in the snow with a good attitude and a smile. Thompson Landscaping called all their friends and business associates and people who weren’t even working anymore to come and help us figure out how to reach our well head, repair it and then bring it above ground. *Nod to Glastonbury Water Systems and Staven’s Drilling (thank you!)* They treated us like family. They have always treated us like family, and because of that we will stay with them.
Their prices are fair. Their staff is nice and knowledgeable. They are always available to us, and I simply cannot say enough about them. If you’re looking to work with real people who care about you and your home then work with Thompson Landscape. We plan on doing lots and lots more work with Thompson as the years go by. We have big plans from the driveway, to the front patio and walkway, to build a deck in the back, to redo the backyard and planting trees/pulling out trees and who knows what else. We have been a customer for many years and have always been happy with their work. They mow our lawn, do spring and fall cleanups, and weed/mulch for us every year. They do a great job, and in the few instances where they’ve had a misstep, they were quick to rectify.
American Yard Service & Irrigation performed the spring start-up for my irrigation system in May 2025, and I am very happy with their service. The technician carefully inspected the system and adjusted the sprinkler heads. He also explained any potential issues. He was professional and responsible. I have worked with several other companies in past years, and I highly recommend this company for irrigation services.

Once again The hygienist was fantastic, she read the notes, informative and made my visit very comfortable. The dentist was also very helpful and made the visit very pleasant, which for me is not always easy to do.
Dr Printup has been my dentist for years, being a diabetic he takes care of all my needs to make sure my teeth are healthy.

Dr. Nick is fantastic at therapeutic touch. He pinpoints the problematic areas of your spine, massages and corrects the alignment. And he educates you on proper ways to sit and sleep, bend with your knees not with your back., and stretching. He is an excellent Chiropractor and I highly recommend him for your back needs.
We started going to ChiroWorks at the end of May 2025 and are still currently seeing Dr. Doug. I cannot say enough good things about our experience, especially for our daughter, Clara.
Before coming to ChiroWorks, Clara was really struggling emotionally. She had a hard time regulating her emotions and would often go from zero to 100 very quickly with her outbursts. She also became overstimulated very easily, especially with loud sounds — even something like singing Happy Birthday was overwhelming for her.
Physically, she had dark circles under her eyes and often seemed run down. Since starting care with Dr. Doug, it feels like her body is finally able to relax and her nervous system is more regulated. She now has noticeably more energy and looks healthier overall.
We tried occupational therapy without success, and she had also been seeing a different chiropractor for quite some time, but that care did not focus on neurological chiropractic work and we weren’t seeing results.
Everything changed when I came across Dr. Tony Ebel from PX Docs on Instagram and learned about this type of care. I was amazed to find that the only chiropractor in Connecticut offering it was right here in Glastonbury. I called immediately, made an appointment, and we’ve been going ever since.
Since starting care with Dr. Doug, the changes in Clara have been incredible. She sleeps better, doesn’t get angry as quickly, and is much more able to regulate her emotions. She’s calmer overall and far less “amped up.”
One moment that really stood out was over Christmas break. Being out of her routine used to be extremely difficult for her, but this time she handled it so well. It felt like night and day.
We have tried everything, and this is the first thing that has actually worked. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Doug and ChiroWorks and would highly recommend them to any parent going through something similar.

He has called me after hours when I needed reassurance, he has sent me hand written cards when I had a death in the family, and he has always given me excellent care.

The whole office is filled with friendly staff and medical assistants. From the time I check in to the time I leave it feels like I'm being treated with excellent care.Dr. Waldman is a fantastic doctor who listens to your concerns and has a lot of knowledge in treatment and prevention for many many skin concerns. I feel like I'm receiving the most up to date patient care, and I feel like if something doesn't work, there's other avenues to explore. I know it's hard to find good dermatologists nowadays but I also know I'm in the best hands going here.
Yesterday I had Mohs surgery at this location for the 4th time. I would not want to go anywhere else. Dr Collins and her staff are professional and are 2nd to none.They really put you at ease. I've been coming here for my pets for over 20 years. I always tell everyone what a great place to bring your pets. We have seen Dr. Cotthaus for many years and this visit was with Dr. Nedder who was great at diagnosing my Louie's sore back. I am always happy with the care my pets receive from this practice. I've been to Asana for several different services, and leave feeling refreshed and pampered after every visit. The staff is super kind and the vibes are on point! Tida, the owner, works so hard at making Asana special for all of her clients, and it really shines through in the results.
I began working with Dan nine months ago, focusing mostly on myofascial release but also incorporating some IET. I have had many years of bodywork as a result of serious childhood injuries compounded by a high-impact single vehicle collision approximately 40 years ago (one where the damage to the car leads one to believe that there were no survivors). Through Dan’s steady, patient, healing hands and soul, I have advanced more in this short period of time than all of the prior years combined! Many aches and pains that I assumed were going to be chronic have either disappeared or been dissipated. At the age of 67, I am more comfortable in my body than I ever have been, which has increased my self-esteem and made me much more optimistic about the future. This was my first time at this massage therapist. We talked briefly before my massage to discuss issues and address where I want the focus on my massage to be at. The massage was deep tissue and really did help despite it hurting just a bit. It did loosen up all the muscles that were extremely tight due to an injury.
Great experience and super affordable if you don’t care about a “spa experience.” I have gone almost weekly for past couple months to ease tension in my neck and back. The reflexology of the feet is amazing as well. They will cater to your needs… I recommend Eric!!
The team at Ivy is second to none. Both Matt and Ken were committed to reducing my chronic back pain which allowed me to return to being active again. The support staff was very kind and caring as well. The facility is kept very clean and is well equipped (despite not having a cappuccino machine). If you’re a golfer in pain this is the place you want to be. You might even get a few swing tips while you’re there!
They are great. Easy to get an appointment. Then in your appointment there is no wasted time, they get right to your issue and you feel better right away. Highly recommend. I love Kyle he is the best!
