2249 New London Turnpike, South Glastonbury“This place is truly amazing for kids and adults. It really allows you to express your best effort and skill for what you want to do. I grew up here making hundreds of memories through the camps, events, and classes. There isn’t a single bad thing about this place that will disappoint you. And the instructors are amazing with kids, as well with teaching as well as they are respectful and caring for their students. My personal experience was a gift.“

871 Newfield St # F, Middletown“I cannot say enough great things about Cromwell Martial Arts. I came for a self defense series and loved it so much that I decided to keep going with that and also learn Kenpo. Sensei Frank Shekosky is highly skilled, but humble and kind. He's also a patient and wonderful teacher. He has a love and a passion for the art that he takes with him to each class.“

27 Olcott St # 1, Manchester“I have a son in the Jr classes. He has gained so much self disciple and respect not just for himself but for others. He looks forward to every class. Seeing what positive changes have come from my sons self esteem, confidence and want to do right I enrolled my 3yr old son in the little tigers class. He has so much fun! They help teach them patience, how to follow simple direction, balancing, along with much more. UKMA is not just a room filled with the best instructors and people, it is a family working together to help one another grow both mentally and physically with no judgement. I would never bring my boys to another place!“

Mr. Reiss is one of them, my son's been training with him for over four years and he has enjoyed every bit of the class he has been to, and learnt so much beyond Takewondo skills“

565 High St, Middletown“I've been attending karate classes with my son (now 7) for the past year. The sensei is very kind and knowledgeable. It is a great community with many black belts very willing to help teach new students. Children and adults practice together, which really adds to the traditional feel and to the sense of community. The monthly fee is also very affordable and with classes four days a week (you can attend as often as you want) there is a lot of flexibility.“

1845 Silas Deane Hwy, Rocky Hill“Two of my children attend this school. My daughter was one of his first students at the Rocky Hill location. We have been attending classes there for roughly 5 years. The owner Darryl is the primary instructor and he is excellent! His daughter whom is a black belt often helps with the classes and she too is excellent at teaching the skills needed. Darryl is perhaps not only a karate instructor but also a positive role model for kids as he always stresses the importance of why it is good to learn karate, when to use it, when not to and of course he has the kids participating in these conversations. Darryl has the patience, knowledge, and experience to teach anyone including young children karate and the importance of discipline etc. He emphasizes the importance of discipline including listening to parents and putting school work first.“
