I’ve personally had Liz do my hair for my wedding as well as regular cuts and color. Not only is she knowledgeable, experienced, and fantastic, but she’s personable and truly cares about her clients as well. Liz strives to make sure all of her client’s needs and expectations are met and is one of those rare hairdresser finds that you follow everywhere. Heads up: She does book up quickly and well in advance so I’d recommend getting on her calendar sooner rather than later.

I’ve been to this hair salon twice now to get my roots highlighted. I dyed my hair blonde, but my natural hair is dark, which creates a strong contrast—so I’ve had to touch up the roots every other month, which is quite high-maintenance.
The first time I went, the hairdresser examined my damaged hair—caused by multiple rounds of bleaching at two other salons—and suggested toning down the blonde and only highlighting the top half of my hair. This way, it would blend better with my dark roots while still keeping a blonde look. Honestly, I wasn’t excited about toning it down because I wanted to go full platinum, but I decided to trust her. The result was very satisfying—it suited my skin tone well and looked more natural.
Since then, I’ve become a regular. About 5–6 weeks later, I went back just to touch up the roots, expecting the same approach. However, the hairdresser said there was too much dark hair showing in the front and decided to highlight that area more after the first round of highlighting. Somehow, the product she used ended up lightening all of my hair again—almost like it was shampooed with bleach—so I ended up going full blonde instead of keeping the blended style from before. Still, I was happy with how it turned out.
Each visit takes about three hours, so if you’re planning to get your hair dyed, be sure to make an appointment.

Jason Carrillo is an excellent barber and always a pleasure to talk with. He does great work, and the whole shop has a welcoming, professional atmosphere. They recently gave the place a makeover, and it looks fantastic.
The shop is always comfortable, clean, and well kept, and it’s usually busy, which says a lot about the quality of service. Even so, appointments are not usually booked too far out, and walk-ins can often be accommodated. That said, once you find your favorite barber, it definitely makes things easier because they already know exactly how you like your cut.
A beard trim is always a nice bonus too. Highly recommended.
I got a last minute appointment here today for my son after another barber in town stood us up for our appt! I didn’t get the man’s name but he was kind and professional and had a really good understanding of my 3 year old being shy and nervous for his first visit there. The cut came out adorable and the price was very reasonable for the time it took! Thank you, we’ll definitely be back. I got a UV gel refill, done by Kim. Kim is a very kind and professional woman. She made me feel heard. She did what I asked and corrected anything that I didn’t like. She did not make a fuss and I only waited five minutes before I was serviced.

I have to update my review. I've been going to Bebe's for over a year now and the service is still great. My daughter and I go to Tay every three weeks. At this point everyone in the salon is our adoptive family. My daughter is on the spectrum and everyone at the salon is so attentive to her. She walks out every time feeling like a million bucks. This hands down is the best nail salon in CT. If you're looking for an immaculately clean salon with a great atmosphere book an appointment now, you won't be disappointed!

Want to look nice without makeup? Go to Dev at Lithium Lash. This is coming from someone who does about zero maintenance on herself and has never had a facial and only 2 manicures in her lifetime. I have short stubby lashes and am inept at putting on false lashes, so when my first daughter was getting married I thought about getting my lashes done but didn't know where to start. Going by 5 star reviews I got ahold of Dev and sent her pictures of my eyes. She guided me as a newbie and I have been hooked ever since. She has an easy going personality and makes you feel comfortable. Have there been stretches of times where I don't go... yes life gets busy, but I do enjoy how they look and how they make me feel about myself and will keep going as long as she is in business.

Erika is the best! I’m so happy with the results of my facial. I was struggling with some acne and dry skin and Erika gave me the VIP treatment, which totally transformed my skin. I recently needed some help with backup due to roots growing into my pipes. Northeast Rooter was at my house in less than an hour & got the job done without leaving any mess behind. I would definitely recommend them.
Have had R&R come out for various non-urgent repairs and boiler maintenance over the last 20 years. A handful of aging copper pipe joints/valves replaced, and most recently a corroded steam pipe. I've only one issue in the distant past with a replaced outdoor spigot that broke after one season, and they came right out, determined that the original part wasn't for outdoor use and replaced at no charge. Reasonable prices and Ron is a wealth of knowledge and experience.
I called Mr. Dumas for an estimate. He came when he said he would, provided me with a reasonable quote, and gave me the option to seek other prices. I was elated when he told me he had time to perform the job on the spot. I was pleased with his knowledge and expertise. He did fine work. In fact, I have hired him to do another job.

Wholeheartedly give 5 stars. Did an emergency replacement of a 56 year old oil tank which was starting to leak. They were professional, arrived when they said they would, and did a quality job. Transferred about 90 gallons of fuel oil to new tank. Also replaced fill and whistle pipes. Cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased and recommend them absolutely!
Just completed installing new gutters and exterior door. Existing gutters were sixty years old so required additional work. A carpenter was needed to replace the fascia boards and to install the door. Gutters done by another team. All work was expertly done. Steve Forand kept me informed of all aspects of the work.

I hired Oliver Beer of Bauhaus Construction after he initially did a ceiling repair for me at a condo I own in Manchester. The ceiling repair was complicated and Oliver fixed the ceiling with a creative solution that the other contractors bidding didn't think of. Price wise, Bauhaus was more competitive than the other contractors. Based on my first experience with Bauhaus (Oliver) and after having numerous conversations about the rest of the condo which needed to essentially had to be gutted, I hired Oliver for this major project which took about 3 months to complete. Oliver works by himself, but he does the work of two people. The rehab project was complicated. The condo unit had extensive smoke damage which was a major challenge. The bathrooms needed gutting, pretty much new everything in the condo. Other contractors would have changed me $50-60k, but Oliver was not half that. Oliver is perfectionist with everything he does. The complicated paint job required as many as 5 coats of paint (on top of primer) and the popcorn ceiling was especially difficult. When the painting was done, the condo was unrecognizable from where we started. Along the way, Oliver had numerous design ideas that would not look great, but would cost effective. Oliver constantly went the extra mile searching out deals on appliances, cabinets, fixtures, tile and hardwood floors. Oliver used his many contacts to address unexpected issues that arose during the project (gas line issues, electrical issues etc). Overall, Oliver was phenomenal in all aspects of the project. I have recommended Oliver to 3 friends (and I never have recommended a contractor to anyone). After this project concluded I hired Oliver to finish my basement in my own home (the condo is rental unit) and result was terrific.
This is my second season with the lawn Doctor it was hard leaving the previous company after being with them for over 15 yrs blind to what more my lawn could look like so I decided to make that change I’ve been very much happier and pleased with the service I’m receiving and how my lawn is looking a bit higher but worth it for me my lawn is my pet peeve I literally got sick when my lawn wasn’t looking nor doing good since being with the lawn doctor I get a lot of compliments on the grass I make them aware that it treat by the lawn Doctor but I do the cutting, edging etc. and I must say that the person that answers the phone and handles bills names mark is. Very polite respectful calm and pleasant when talking with him regarding my lawn.

This past fall we had the front and side landscaping of our house completely redone by White Oak, and we are extremely happy with the result! After speaking with several landscaping companies the decision to move forward with White Oak was very easy. They got back to us very quickly and came to the house to discuss the project in detail. Both Shannon and Matt were very responsive with inquiries, including stone and plant selections based on our preferences. They also put together a render and discussed all details before kicking off the project. As part of the project they had to relocate some sprinkler heads, something that other companies would not do. Hats off to Shannon, Matt and the rest of their team - they are punctual, friendly, and hardworking. I highly recommend them and will certainly reach out to them for future projects!

We have been seeing Dr. Brian Ruggiero for a year now for bioresonance scanning, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! He has the top-of-the-line Qest4 bioenergetic system in his office, and the insights we’ve gained from it have been absolutely invaluable.
We primarily go for our 4-year-old daughter, who has complex medical issues and developmental delays, but my husband and I have also done scans, and every time, I am blown away by the accuracy and results. The remedy tinctures we’ve taken afterward have made a noticeable difference in how we feel—I always feel amazing after taking them! For our daughter, this scan has helped us navigate unknowns, uncover missing pieces of her complex puzzle, and guide us in the right direction. We saw huge improvements in her speech and detoxing after giving her the recommended remedy tincture, which was incredible to witness.

Dr. Ruggiero is by far the kindest and most caring person. My daughter, who is typically very shy and nervous around medical practitioners, absolutely loves him—she affectionately calls him “Dr. B.” He is always so welcoming, patient, and makes our entire family feel like part of his own. He goes above and beyond to explain scan results, ensuring we understand everything, and he is always open to tailoring the scans to our daughter’s symptoms and medical history. His flexibility, including offering scans on select Saturdays, has been a lifesaver for us!
His office is gorgeous, immaculate, and truly feels like a cozy spa—the atmosphere alone makes every visit a calming experience. I was visiting from out of state with herniated disc. I was able to enjoy the rest of my stay with his quick diagnosis and treatment. The practice has a great adminstrator who was very helpful

The staff of MVC are awesome. I find that the doctors are knowledgeable and care about my pets. I was very impressed with Dr Laufer. She examined Sasha on 01/20/2026 and noticed her bumps throughout her body. I find the doctor was more thorough and measured her bumps. I was concerned with my last couple of visits but the doctors were not concerned at the time. I think measuring the bumps made sense so we can monitor and compare for her future visits. Thank you to Dr Laufer for being more thorough and helping us get through Sasha’s visit. I hope to see Dr Laufer on our next visit to MVC. ?✌???
Amanda loves all and every dog that she grooms, and they come home looking beautiful, but most importantly, happy. My dogs LOVE going to see Amanda for their spa day. Just look at the pictures of some of the dogs she grooms, and you can see a happy stressfree and gorgeous pup. I've been to other groomers before Cuts Fur Pups was established, and nothing can compare to the individualized and personal touch Amanda gives every dog.
My Maltese mix loves getting groomed at Doggie Style Salon. She can play with other pups before and after grooming while waiting for me to pick her up. She had a different groomer today and she had a few extra things done and Jess said she was really good! She had her nails trimmed and also anal gland expression along with her normal bath and hair design. The staff is very caring and do great work. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.
My dog ( chihuahua) happens to be very difficult to trim his nails this is the only place that will take him on. They are amazing and humane. I absolutely love them. I am so greatful to have found them through a friend of mine as a walk in. Highly recommended.
Attended the intro yoga class and it was so peaceful. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. At $40 unlimited for the month I will definitely be back. Come take a class, you won't regret it.
Prenatal yoga and Baby and Mom yoga were both enormous gifts to me with my first. I met so many other new moms (many of whom I still stay in contact with) and treasured the opportunity to participate in such a supportive community of women. Melissa creates a comfortable, judgement free atmosphere that welcomes all. I am now back to prenatal with my second pregnancy and am so grateful for the Zoom and in-person options.
Michael is an incredible massage therapist. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient,. He takes time to understand where you are at each session. He uses humor, wisdom and silence as needed. The atmosphere is so calming and relaxing, and the clean, fresh linens, beautiful music, and air purifier take it to the next level. Highly recommend!

Service was very unique from what I was used to and it was great ! My partner loved his deep tissue massage as well.
