I don't make reviews often, if ever, but this company is AWESOME. These guys know what they're doing, and they take the time to talk to you and explain everything. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with everything when we needed a new breaker panel. They went above and beyond. They really are just that good. 100% I'd recommend them to everyone! If you need electrical work done, these guys are IT!

We had a very positive experience working with Kitchens by Bruce and are very happy with the final result. We had a full bathroom completely remodeled and a half bath was refreshed. Excellent Quality workmanship and products and an honest price, all employees were very friendly and honest, Tyler ,Keith, Lindsey and all 7 of the workers doing the roofing replacement. Recently used the services of Gold Star Remodeling and was completely satisfied. Initially, contracted this company for a master bath renovation and then again for the downstairs powder room. The removal of a 32+ year jetted tub and surround along with the motor was a challenge. A wall had to be removed and a new one constructed to accommodate the length of the new shower pan. New flooring had its own set of challenges as one of the walls was a "roof pitch" but Dave managed to lay it down to our satisfaction. Our old vanity was repurposed by painting it navy blue to coordinate with the new medicine cabinet and all the walls were painted a contrasting light blue. White baseboards were installed and new lighting completed the project. The project took a bit longer than expected due to the challenges the plumber faced with our post-and-beam constructed house. They had to upgrade the 1-1/2 inch tub drain with a 2 inch shower drain to satisfy the town's building code without cutting into any of the posts or beams. The powder room went much faster and the same flooring and paint colors were used. No plumbing issues and Gold Star Remodeling was able to complete their tasks without issue. We hired Natalie and her team to renovate our bathroom and remodel our whole upstairs including putting in a walk-in closet and all I can say is WOW! She and her team are so professional and the quality of work is amazing. Her attention to detail (especially with things like the super difficult tile I picked) is impeccable. I originally hired her as I had heard great things from others and she lived up to her amazing reputation. As a stay-at-home mom, I was totally comfortable with the team working while I was at home. I have worked with other contractors before and my one regret about Natalie is that we did not find her sooner! Please hire her-- you will be so happy you did.
My wife and I got the recommendation from Gottier Fuel and we have used them several time for all big jobs. A split unit central air for our house a full pellet furnace a deducting our house after asbestos abatement and every job was top notch. He can do it all and is a great and honest. We don’t get prices any more he gives us an estimate and done.

We purchased an 18' x 24' hammer truss pavillion kit. My wife and I are both 60. Together, with my oldest son and my brother-in-law, we set the large frame members up in about 6 hours. My wife and I installed all the rafters and roof decking, and then we hired out the shingle installation. This kit is top-notch! We are looking forward to many relaxing hours under it! Phenomenal Phil worked wonders on our floor, which hadn’t been touched for nearly 30 years! It was covered with deep scratches and graying spots that were very dried out. I was hoping for any improvement and would have been satisfied, but WOW… they look brand new. I could not recommend anyone else. He was reasonably priced, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We are so excited to have beautiful floors before the holidays ?

I can't believe I just found this place! I called Monday night and left a voicemail to see if they could fit me in for a pedi and brow wax today. When Alyssa (so sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) called back Tuesday they initially could not fit me in but put me on a cancellation list. To my surprise, she called me later that afternoon to tell me they could accommodate me due to a cancellation ... I was elated. The salon is small but I love the ambiance. Appointments are required. I would imagine it's hard to get last minute appointments Because of the salon size, so keep that in mind. The subtle glitter patient on the walls feels glamorous. It is clean. My first time experience this and I have to say I love it .... No jet tubs! They fill a large clean bowl with warm water and a delightful smelling mixture. Takes away a lot of the worry about sticking your feet in an unclean tub. You don't sit in a traditional salon massage chair rather a comfortable bench with throw pillows. The sugar scrub they use on your legs smells incredible and my legs are SO smooth hours later. I really loved Alyssa. Conversation was SO natural. My brows also look incredible and the waxing/tweezing was minimally painful compared to other experiences. This place is truly a hole in the wall gem. Snapped a few photos inside but definitely should check it out for yourself! I'm looking forward to my next visit. It doesn't feel like a factory loaded with people and I loved that!

After years of feeling extremely fatigued with no explanation by my GP, I decided that it was the me to try a different route to get some answers and made an appointment with Dr Schindler. I filled out the very comprehensive questionnaire and on my first appointment, Dr Schindler proved to me that she had actually read everything that I had put for answers in the questionnaire and she had a plan. She ordered a lot of blood tests for me (my insurance paid $9000 of the tests and I paid around $500). Once my results came back, there were several things that could provide an explanation for my fatigue. Dr Schindler recommended some OTC supplements for me and they were life changing. Within a few weeks I was feeling better and now 7 months later, I have my life back! A big thank you to Dr Schindler for listening and helping me figure out what was making me feel so horrible for years. It was worth every penny.
I had CD renovate my kitchen and it went perfectly. Marsha was our point of contact and she was invaluable. She helped us make good choices in cabinets, flooring and countertops, and let us know when one of our ideas would not work. She's a total pro! All of the guys who did the work were friendly and beyond competent.I'd heard of CD Builders when I moved to Ellington 30 years ago and I've never heard a bad thing about them since. When I finally made up my mind to get my kitchen done, I did not 'shop around'. I had no wish to get taken by a company that did not have a long history of doing good work. A facial is wonderful but having an esthetician see your face regularly and discuss products that are working or not working is huge. Kevin came very quickly and was very knowledgeable about the problems we were having with the electrical for the appliances. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. He diagnosed and fixed the outlet for the dishwasher and also installed a range hood fan and light, so everything is now working and we are so happy! He took a lot of care and was very kind and courteous. I highly recommend him and his company!

I just had a consultation for a root canal with Dr. Jonathan Zahner for my 16 year old daughter. A few months ago we were told my daughter she definitely needs a root canal. My daughter is terrified of needles and started having severe anxiety just talking about it. So I did research to find an office anywhere in CT (we drove from Branford) that offers nitrous oxide. The office is beautiful, so clean and inviting. Everyone from the front desk to our dental assistant were super friendly and patient with myself and my daughter. Everything with the X-rays and digital pictures were explained and done in such a professional manner. When we met with Dr. Zahner he said that we can go a more conservative way and perform a filling considering she did not have any pain or sensitivity with her tooth. We were both so relieved and happy about this. He explained exactly what he would do during the filling and why. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found this practice and for her to be given another option. So we will be returning in 1 weeks to have that done. I highly recommend this practice. Toni is always great. House clean and smells so good. She came alone though this time so took longer than normal but she did great job. Only comment is would be nice to get a text or email morning of appointment regarding expected time of arrival.
We had Gary and his crew paint our living room, kitchen, dining room, etc. This included walls and ceiling that haven't been painted for years. Gary's work is flawless, he pays great attention to detail. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend his services.

First visit here and I had a 60 minute massage with hard pressure and it was terrific!! Nice clean place with a very welcoming feel. Masseuse was very professional and very pleasant, even funny at times. Great place, leaving my old massage place for good.
Certified recently took down five trees. Mike and his crew were amazing. The job started at 8 am and they cleaned up and gone by 4 pm. A good company with a good crew and the right equipment makes all the difference.
We had a great experience with Rich at Fence It In for the installation of our pool fence. From start to finish, Rich and his team were professional. The fence and four gates looks and works great. Rich took the time to answer our questions and was flexible with some last minute changes. We’re extremely happy with the final result and would recommend Rich and his team to anyone looking for a new fence.

I used KF for installment of a new front door. They did not do the actual install, but they helped me ensure that the door slab plus frame and sidelight window were the correct size that then my contractor would put in the door. It was somewhat more complicated than I thought, and yet felt comfortable and confident with them at the helm. Paige was extremely helpful and communicative along the way, making for such a pleasant experience and removing the stress from what could have been an otherwise daunting project.
I have been going to West Meadow counseling for over 4 years now, and the care, help and understanding I receive is unmatched! I’ve seen a few therapists in my 34 years, and Ruthie is hands down the best I’ve had! I look forward to our sessions so I can vent and air my grievances with life! She has helped me so much to process my grief, the struggles of parenting, and finding my voice with asserting boundaries!

I want to be sure I am fair on this one. I went to Arlena on recommendation after seeing a gorgeous acrylic set she did on a friend. She did a beautiful pedi for me and more sets of acrylics for my daughter and friend. I had her do a beautiful design mani on my natural nails for my wedding but the polish starting peeling off completely within 8 hours. I was unhappy with her initial reply which was simply that she "could not guarantee how long polish lasts on natural nails." I had to request a refund twice which I believe should have been immediately offered. Arlena did refund me against normal policy and did apologize for the situation she left me in just hours before my wedding. As upset as I was with the situation, and will not personally return to the salon, I do have to say that her art skills and acrylics are fantastic.
Cleanest salon I've ever been in, excellent service! Highly recommend! The atmosphere is very nice also.
Tri is THE best! Got me in for an appointment fast. Usually a natural nail girlie not really sure what to ask for but showed some pictures. He did such an amazing job customizing the design and made it exactly was looking for my upcoming vacation. Will be back again and highly recommend ?
