We noticed an unusual smell when our AC kicked on one day last week. After many years of using a large, well-known Pueblo HVAC company whose service (in my estimation) has suffered after being bought out by an even larger non-local entity, I was looking for someone smaller, local, competent, and responsive.
Clarks Mechanical met all the criteria. The lady I spoke to in their office was professional, friendly, and promptly scheduled a service call for the next day. On the service day, I was notified when the tech was on his way (on time as promised).
The tech, Levi Acosta, was outstanding. Like the office personnel, he was friendly and professional. He also proved his competence, quickly diagnosing that the smell was coming from a blower motor burning out. He contacted a distributor, made arrangements to get a new motor, and handled all the red tape to ensure the cost of the part was covered under the still-in-effect warranty. As this was on a Friday, and because the new motor wouldn't be available to install until Monday, he offered to bring out a portable AC unit to help get us through the 100-degree temps expected that weekend. On Monday, he arrived before the promised time and quickly and efficiently installed the new motor, got the system running, and made sure all the numbers were checking out as they should before leaving.
The entire process was no stress/no mess, with Levi demonstrating high-level expertise, follow through, personableness and a commitment to customer-focused service and transparency. He was also an excellent communicator.
Clarks Mechanical proved to be exactly what I was looking for -- local, responsive, nimble, and highly competent. Moving forward, Clarks and Levi are my new go-to HVAC resources.
I took my 21 month here for his first official haircut. He was nervous at first and didn't want to sit in the chair alone. Mariah was so great with him. They work with many children and those with special needs as well - and the experience shines through ✨. There were lollipops, finding Nemo and at the end of it - an amazing job with a kiddo who was moving all over the place the entire time ?. Highly recommend and we will be returning ?✨. He looks so handsome and super fresh ?. Thanks Mariah!!

Janette is one of the best barberettes/ braiders out there. She takes time to get to know her clients and builds that bond with them. I love that I can show her a picture of the braids I want and she’ll put her own twist on them to make them the way I want. If your looking for someone that does it all I highly recommend come to steel city barber and asking for Janette.

Arleen is truly an artist in her craft! I have naturally very long and curly hair. Arleen understands that naturally curly hair is difficult to work with and doesn’t shy away from having the hard talks with me about it. When I only want “an inch or two” she is quick to explain the difference between a trim and what it takes to make my hair look healthy again. (She’s always right even if I want to admit it or not) She uses new techniques to make sure that my curls pop when I wear my hair natural and that when my hair is straightened it lays flat. I’ve gotten beautiful blonde highlights on my very dark brown hair. She had to explain to me that miracles don’t happen over night and again, she makes sure that I understand that this is all a process and not to expect magic. (But the ice blonde she made happen I’m still convinced is magic) She has kept my hair beautiful, healthy and strong for over 15 years. I will drive all the way from Denver because SHE IS THAT GOOD! If you’re debating on going in to see her or not, stop debating and call Arleen, she will help! Plus all of the products she uses smell so good. It’s like a little treat on top of the great job she already does.

I was looking for a new barber shop, and I'm pretty sure I found the best one in Pueblo!
After all the shops closed in 2020, my wife began cutting my hair. To be fair, she does a really good job, but I wanted a professional barber who could finesse a fade, trim a beard, and provide a service that really can't be found at home.
I mentioned this at my middle school one morning, and immediately one of my favorite students recommended Los Reyz. He described where it was located -- right down the street from the best dry cleaners in town (Dundee) -- and I made it a point to pay my first visit that Friday.
I walked into a shop with such a solid, groovy, welcoming vibe that I instantly felt comfortable and at home. One of the barbers asked if I had an appointment, and when I said unfortunately no, Elias quickly said he would take me as soon as he was finished with his current haircut.
I settled into their cushy sofa, kicked back, listened to some excellent slaps coming from their excellent speakers, and watched Elias work his magic on the other customer. It was like watching a skilled artist, craftsman, and surgeon all rolled into one. I was totally mesmerized.
When it came time for my turn, Elias warmly invited me into his chair and carefully listened while I explained what I wanted. Not only did he do just exactly that, but he even surpassed my expectations with a better fade treatment that I've ever had. It was perfection!
In my whole 61 years on this beautiful planet, never have I ever had a barber or hairstylist take their time with such patience and expertise. This was by far the best haircut I've ever had, and the conversation was truly exceptional to boot.
On top of being at the top of his game, Elias is kind, intelligent, and down-to-earth. What an excellent human being, as well as a consummate barber. I can't wait till my next haircut, but this time I will make an appointment.

Normally I need to show like 5 reference photos but all she needed was the one reference of the transition fade i get and it was perfect!
Just a heads up she is cash only (which is completely reasonable with the fees that card terminals take) but I was in and out less than 30 minutes and she let me go take out cash after since I didn't realize that

Tony (Chong) did an excellent job. The massage on the bottom of my feet was the best, but he suggested an excellent option for my nails I hadn’t seen before.
I continue to go here, because both my husband and myself get great pedicures. Kim is awesome, she's quiet and works steadily. I prefer quiet as I have a hearing problem. May is always very welcoming, and Tony gives a great pedicure also. We are stuck on Kim though, because we are both difficult subjects when it comes to toenails. I always walk out with a great job!

I got my tattoo done by Emilio today and it came out phenomenal. A rib piece with cursive lettering. He took his time but was still very efficient, continuously checked in to make sure I was doing ok and most of all it came out looking sharp and clean. Definitely will be using him and this shop again in the near future.

We needed help ASAP, with wildfire smoke and the heat, my husband's breathing problems and oxygen dependency, we needed our AC working. I called Patterson, they came the next day and replaced our AC parts, got it running. I recommend this company with 5 stars.
Only use Flow Right, they truly see you as a human being and not just a job. Brandon was awesome, I'm a new home owner and I had a lot of questions. Spectrum is the Best. My Son's water heater was broke and emitting Carbon monoxide in the house. Replace flex connector, shutoff valve and water heater in no time flat. Said they would be there the next morning and was right on time. Totally professional, courteous,, and Jess even installed Carbon monoxide detectors and fire detector. Scheduled the inspection. Spectrum also did drain cleaning and unplugged my daughter's house problem. Won't use anyone else . Best in town. Thank you Jess if you hadn't showed up my family would have been lost. replacing the skirting on our mobile home in Colorado City. He drove out to check out the job and answered any questions or concerns. After the job followed up with us with some recommendations to address that were noted while installing the new skirting. Nice to see someone willing to point out some problems areas that we might want to look at later on. Kudos to John and Timberline!
This company worked to repair my electric mast a while back after it got ripped down from a falling tree limb. Also put in an essential grounding wire that I didn't even know my house didn't have! They also replaced a couple of outlets for me in my house. They were professional, respectful and very reasonably priced! Thank you Pueblo Electrics!

The team did an amazing job. Our yard was massively overgrown and looked pretty rough, but they managed to completely transform my space and finished the job in one day which I appreciated! I can now actually enjoy my yard. Paul was very communicative and kept me informed throughout the process.

Dr. Jamie and her staff were amazing with my 11 day old baby. My daughter had a lip and tongue tie that needed surgery to correct and Dr. Jamie took the time to explain how it would work as well as how it would help my daughter’s jaw development, improve nursing, and help her tummy troubles. The surgery was quick and well worth it. There has already been a significant improvement for my daughter, who is now 19 days old.
I came in with a broken molar, my dentist was on vacation I was referred to Pueblo modern dentistry. They were so nice and professional. I was treated very professionally and I got my crown the same appointment. Very happy with all the assistants( Kenzie and Jennie) and Dr.Patel. I would recommend this dental office to everyone!

The chiropractors here are great. No pressure to return or setup a schedule of 10 - 20 visits. They cracked a part of my back that very few have been able to get. Then told me to call for an appointment if it starts bothering me again.
They're always good at getting us when they can. Answering my questions over the phone. Helping me decide if we even need to take our dogs in. They were so good to my dog and patient with us. They removed a volley ball size cancerous tumor from her uterus. When we picked her up she was so happy! Thank you all for taking such great care of her! Our old lady means the world to us and that was the hardest choice to make but we are so glad we did!

Our puppy was seen for emergency services. Our puppy had been diagnosed with seizures from small animal clinic and refused to refil the medication. But this clinic had empathy and compassion. Providing the medication and was well worth every dime ?

I had a great experience bringing my two chocolate labs here for a self wash. Everyone was so kind. This was my first time here and they showed me what was available for use (brushes, soaps, towels, drying room, aprons, etc.) the rest was self explanatory but they did offer to help me if I had any other questions.

We received our elderly neighbor’s dog when she was taken to the hospital late Friday night. She had been on the floor for several days and the pup was an absolute mess due to her owner being injured. We had one very, very sad dog. I called at 9:30 am Saturday morning and they were able to get her in at noon. She came back a completely different pup- soft, clean, smelling good, and HAPPY. Can’t thank them enough! They did a wonderful job!

I started doing yoga recently at different studios in Pueblo on a quest to find classes and instructors that are a good fit for my fitness level and goals I want to accomplish. So far at Studio Share, I've taken the Barre Sculpt and Tone and Vinyasa Flow. Each class allowed me to modify based on my comfort level. I'll definitely keep going back!

Very clean environment, you definitely feel cozy and at home. Staff always in great attitude and always extremely respectful. I work in construction and often need massages to be able to get back to work with no issues.
I used to come here a lot. I go to the professionals now and pay a little bit more money. I like just being able to walk in and its never a wait. I dont like that they fall asleep while working. This has happened with 2 different guys. Multiple times doing my back and then multiple times on my feet. If you are tired you should just stay home. I shouldn't have to keep moving to wake you up. I dont think I'll be going back anymore ?
I have been with this athletic club for several years. Its always clean, well stocked and the employees are always accommodating and professional. I love the outdoor pool in the summer. My only complaint is guest passes are $10 from $5 bringing a guest or two gets pricey.
But over all worth the membership.
My daughter came here to get help for some overuse injuries in her arms, which seem to be nerve issues. We had a great experience- we saw Ben Highfill, and he was kind, patient, thorough and genuinely interested in what was happening specifically for her. He also explained things well. We would highly recommend this practice!
The therapists was very knowledgeable and caring. He ran me through some exercises and showed me my success. Additionally he performed some skin rubs to help with circulation in the shin area.
