“After 9 surgeries including 3 neck fusions it is safe to say I have had just about every type of physical therapy and modality (range of motion, stretching, mobility, accupuncture, trigger point, massage, electro stim, red light, pulsed magnetic wave, injections, heat packs, cold packs...you name it I have had it) I can honestly say that meeting Todd and Jen and going through the SymFit program has been life altering. Not only do they address the acute issues but their techniques get at the underlying causes and help you to help yourself. “I have been going to Pillar of Strength for over 8 years. My physician recommended it to me and I am so glad she did.Sarah runs a tight ship. All the equipment is clean, in good repair and the studio is immaculate.Likewise, her classes are never dull. She gives complete instruction and is there to help you if your foot is not cooperating with the strap.The client mood in her studio is one of humor and acceptance.Yes, you get a great and challenging workout.Yes, you get to be with other souls that are trying to keep fit and be flexible.Yes, you work at your own pace and if a modification is needed, Sarah is right there to help you. She and Allison Brenner work with me to deal with past injuries and avoid new ones as I age. Caroline is so perceptive; she guides subtle changes that make big differences. “I started going here last year and have been totally converted into a pilates fanatic. After battling chronic hip and low back pain for years, I finally found something that keeps me strong and mobile, and I've managed to avoid throwing my back out since I started doing pilates. Jan (the owner) helped me learn the fundamentals with a few private classes and now I attend group classes each week, most often with the amazing and supportive Adina.It would be enough to find a studio that helps my physical health, but the Studio of Unique Fitness has become more than just the place where I exercise. It's become a second home that I genuinely look forward to visiting each week. Everyone here is wonderful, from the instructors to the clients, and that positive environment motivates me to come back consistently. I know I will be doing pilates for many more years, and I'm excited to do as many of those years with the Studio of Unique Fitness as possible!“

“Going here is the first time I've seen noticeable results in my fitness -- gyms and trying things on my own never worked. Lisa and company are highly trained, can spot / correct your movement issues a mile away, and know how to adjust everything for your fitness level. I've been coming here for a while and love it. My core certainly appreciates it as well especially since I'm a desk/office worker :-) Speaking of which, class can be done online as well!“

“The parking is horrendous. I drove around the block twice and had to pay for a parking garage. Especially for a 6pm class. The class is really hard and high energy. I struggled understanding what to do as this was my first time doing Pilates and there's no one in particular to follow. A lot of people were doing different variations from what the instructor said so it was difficult to follow. I felt great afterwards and will definitely want to try again now that I know what to expect“
