“I had a great experience with Dr. Yamahata. He did an excellent job and provided clear, knowledgeable consultations. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and gave honest advice, which made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the process.

The front desk staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. They were always welcoming and assisted me whenever I had questions.

However, I was disappointed with the patient coordinator. After surgery, there was no follow-up communication. I had to initiate all follow-ups and coordinate my own post-op appointments, which should not be the patient’s responsibility. Important information that I should have received was never provided.

Overall, I am very happy with Dr. Yamahata’s work and the care from the doctor and front desk staff. Improving post-op communication from the patient coordinator would greatly enhance the patient experience.“

“This was my second birth at this hospital and I have to say both times were really good experiences but my most recent delivery was amazing! Robin was my labor and delivery nurse and I seriously could not say enough amazing things about her. She was so comforting and kind , she also has an amazing personality which made the process so much easier. She was even jamming out to music with me and hyped me up the whole time. I had a pretty traumatic experience my first time getting the epidural because I waited until I was 8cm so staying still during contractions made it very difficult and painful but the anesthesiologist Dr.Jones was AMAZING. He got the epidural done in under 2 minutes and had an amazing personality as well! After my daughter was born Robin came up to me and told me how proud she was of me and i bursted into tears because i was so grateful for her. I would not have had such an amazing experience if it weren’t for her, truly. All of the nurses and doctors were overall kind and nice! Once we got moved to the recovery room my nurses were Lauren and Cindy, they were SO kind I could not be more grateful to them for making this experience so smooth and amazing. Thank you sutter for having such amazing nurses and doctors! ❤️ and a HUGE thank you to Robin, I will never forget you!!“

“I have Dr. Ochoa as my primary doctor and he's pretty chill. I also do my therapy through them and ive had a really good experience, i like my trauma therapist alot. My psychologist is really cool too, she manages my medicine and its helped alot with my mental health. I think ive been at Peach Tree for a year now, im alot better than i was when i started. Also everyone at the front desk, well the majority of the nurses and staff there are always so friendly! Once you get through your first appointment, youre in pretty good hands.“

“The Gender Health Center is welcoming and friendly. I appreciate that the counselors here made an effort to meet me where I was at, and worked with me on my own timeline. I have struggled to get gender affirming healthcare, but the staff here empathized with my situation and gave me useful resources to get proper medical care. If you are overwhelmed trying to navigate the social, legal, and medical aspects your transition, I would definitely reach out to the the Gender Health Center. I was feeling lost and didn't even know what help I wanted or needed but I just decided to give it a try. “Dr. Lau is 5 stars, office staff is 2-3 stars. I have called multiple times and encountered endless hold music, or "after hours" messages DURING business hours. In fact one time I had to email requesting an appt because of that. Not user-friendly nor customer-service oriented. You either have overworked staff, unhelpful staff, or not enough staff. Either way, that's your problem and shouldn't be mine. Then I got a "you didn't cancel" email when I tried to call during business hours & got the above and was forced to leave a voicemail. I also really dislike that they don't do any labs in-office and make you go to Quest independently. Because of the latter 2, I am going to find a new PCP. Dr. Lau was recommended by a family member and I do recommend him, however navigating the office staff ineptitude makes it not worth it and I'll be finding another PCP.

Update: they either have new staff, grow from feedback, or both! I've been impressed lately about the administrative side. I got too busy to research a new PCP, stuck with them as a result, and now pretty good! I've updated to higher rating as a result.“

“Normally I have a tough time getting an appointment but they put me with Dr Sosonov and I really hope he sees this review. Dr Sosonov is the first male doctor I have ever felt comfortable with in my life. He diagnosed me as obese but was so kind about it. And I mean I knew, so it was no surprise. But he also didn’t tell me “you’re too fat go lose weight”. He didn’t even mention losing weight or dieting because that’s not what I came in there for. Shout out to Dr Sosonov! Because of him I had a great Friday“
