If you are looking for a great dermatologist through Kaiser, I would highly recommend Dr. Wen En Kuo. The care I have received from him and his team has been phenomenal. I had developed psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis within the last year, and to be frank, it made life quite difficult. Along with the painful itchy scales all along my forehead and scalp (which I initially thought to be a bad case of dandruff), I was in pain for over a year and even walking became quite difficult. Fast forward to the present, and the care and prescriptions I've received from Dr. Kuo have cleared my scalp and arthritis, and I am now feeling like myself again. Highly recommend Dr. Kuo!
Kaiser is great if you do the work. Find good doctors. Don't like yours? Get another one. Read reviews. Try folks out. There are a lot of great providers at Kaiser if you are proactive about your healthcare. You don't blame Target when you buy the first coffee maker you see and it doesn't make the kind of coffee you want. You gotta think about your choices. Like everything else in the world, you get out of it what you put into it.
Word of advice - if you want to move up to "pick up" your medications and skip that long line ... wait in the handicap line because that's how you'll move up. Pharm techs aren't allowed to ask if your handicap or not. That was my experience today when I had to wait in the long line according to the sign and a woman just went to the handicap line and got her meds before anyone in the "appropriate" line.
