I’d like to preserve some anonymity so I won’t be getting too detailed, but I had two extensive surgeries with Dr. Yamahata. I will recommend him always. My experience was beyond amazing. Dr Yamahata is one of the most honest, compassionate plastic surgeons I have ever met. I specifically wanted chin liposuction, and he spent time with me taking pictures, evaluating my jawline, and showed me pictures of what it would look like, and he ultimately advised me that he didn't recommend for me to undergo any surgery. I trusted him completely and am impressed that he took the time to review options and explain everything to me even though he ultimately wasn't going to make any money from it! His heart is in the right place. I truly respect his integrity and compassion as a physician and as a person.

I had my breast augmentation at the Granite Bay location on 12/6/23 with Dr. Yamahata. The most important thing for me was to correct the asymmetry in my breasts and nipples. I was expecting to have a lift to fix my nipples, but the Dr assured me that a lift wasn't necessary. He was able to beautifully enhance the shape and size of my breast with 375cc in both.. I only wish I had gone just a little bit bigger since they were placed behind the muscle, and I had very little breast tissue to work with.
