“I replaced my dead rooftop HVAC unit with an electric heat pump last winter. Juan Torres from Accurate Zone submitted one of the lower bids, and he also came highly recommended by several of my friends who have used his services for years. He and his partner installed my new heat pump along with the ductwork and new vents, the work converting from gas to electric for the heating component, reroofing under the new unit, 2 attic fans, Nest thermostat and the permits. It was a big job – 5 days – and they were organized, punctual, hardworking, efficient and friendly throughout. Each morning, Juan clearly explained the work they would be doing that day and patiently answered any questions I had. Each evening they cleared away their debris and swept their work areas before leaving. This past winter was a cold one, but the heat worked great.
I am especially grateful that the heat pump comes with a 2-year guarantee, and Juan offers a one-year guarantee for his work. Although both Juan and the city worker who verified the permit tested the AC last winter, the first time I turned it on this summer the vents blew out warm air, and the temperature inside the house rocketed from 80 to 88 degrees. Yikes! I called Cathy from Accurate Zone (she’s also wonderful – friendly and efficient), and Juan called me back minutes later. Juan arrived at my house that afternoon and worked steadfastly for almost 5 hours both in the house and on the roof until he isolated and repaired the problem – a wire was shorting. Cathy rang me the next day to follow up that my AC continued to work well. An additional two weeks have passed, and though it’s been HOT outside, my home remains pleasantly cool, thanks to Juan and the folks at Accurate Zone. I highly recommend them.“

“Maestro Heating and Cooling just installed a new Heating and AC system and new air ducts in our home in Porter Ranch. When our old system broke down in 100 degree weather, they came right out and after testing, installed a temporary motor to keep us cool for the 2 days until the new system came. They showed up on time as promised and installed a great new Heating and AC system that cools our house down quickly and efficiently and is very quiet. “Country air was recommended to me by a friend and I cannot say enough good things about them. I contacted Nelson because my AC unit stopped working in the middle of the summer. He was my second estimate, after the first provider told me I needed to replace my entire unit and ducts costing me over $20k. Nelson showed up on the appointment date on time, was very professional and conducted an inspection of my AC unit and ducts. His diagnostic was a damaged Capacitator which he replaced, and a leak which we agreed, we would take care of by the end of the summer. In the meantime, he refilled the unit with refrigerant fluid and the cost was less than 1k and said there was no need for us to replace the unit because it was still working fine. It just needed the capacitator to be replaced and the leak to be fixed which I plan on following up by the end of the summer.
