“This review is strictly for my ER experience (and also working with surgery). Overall, my experience was great. Wait time was less than 15 minutes (even with it being busy). Every nurse I encountered was sweet and attentive, they did their best to manage the pain I was feeling, especially since I was at a 8/9. The doctors were nice, they helped me figure out the problem and what was causing the pain. Although, being that I had been to the ER twice within 24 hours, I did have to advocate for myself a bit because I really didn't want to leave with just stronger pain meds the second time around. Thankfully, the doctor understood how unbearable the pain was and consulted with a surgeon who was on board to go through with the procedure I needed, rather than waiting a couple weeks/a month out for it. Within 2 hours of deciding, I was being prepped for surgery. The surgeon explained the process of the procedure, the duration of it, and my recovery time. Next thing you know I'm wheeled into OR, chatted with the OR team who complimented my tattoo of my dog :) and then bam. What felt like a minute later, I was woken up in the recovery room alongside two nurses. And ta-dah!! The process was as seamless as I could've hoped for and while I'm recovering, I no longer feel the excruciating pain I was feeling. Thanks KP team! :)”
