Dr. Lao is the best of the best. Super friendly, patient and professional. When I was first diagnosed as needing hearing aids, she explained all of my options and patiently answered all of my questions. She also allowed me to test drive a few different sets of hearing aids so I could figure out which were best for me and my lifestyle. Whenever I needed adjustments or repairs, Dr. Lao has gone beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was done quickly, conveniently and with high quality.

I have suffered from hearing loss since my teen years. Dr. Lao is brilliant and patient, spending the time the patient needs and not just going through the motions.She was thorough, explained everything to me in terms that I could understand and gave me a handful of options to evaluate and choose from.Are hearing aids expensive? Yes. Can you buy the same product online for less? Yes. Can an online merchant do basic programming? Yes. BUT - Can that online merchant fit your new aids, drawing from a drawer full of wires and domes then put little tubes in your ears to tune out any resonances and whistles, tweak the sound to your preference and then provide as much followup support as you need? NOPE!!And that is why Dr. Lao gets five stars and my repeat business!

If you are searching for a new Audiologist, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! I live in San Carlos and had been going to an Audiologist in Los Gatos for many years who retired and moved out of the area. I tried several local dispensers who just couldn't meet my needs. Finally, my aides wore out and I then tried to get new aides from Costco. They only have dispensers not audiologists and aides on the lower price ranges and performance levels which did not meet my needs either.Finally, after searching the Peninsula area and trying a few more places that didn't work for me, I found Precision Hearing on Yelp and gave her a try. What a wonderful surprise!!! Anga is fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, and caring. She listened to my history and my needs, recommended a brand and ordered the aides all during the pandemic. Anga is an Audiologist and teaches Audiology at the college level.Everything was great until Apple upgraded the iPhone 11 to a new rev. Then my aides started to have some pairing issues that weren't resolved by the mfrs first software update. What did Anga do??? She had the hearing aides replaced free of charge within a couple of weeks and they work perfectly!! I couldn't be happier. She also responds same day to any email communications.
