“A Heat Pump was installed by Building Efficiency, replacing my old gas furnace. This enabled me to have a good heat source without the smell of a gas furnace and to have AC when needed. They worked closely with me to establish the best location for the heat pump (which does generate some noise of its own), were clear about the time frame in which we neede to schedule the work, and cleaned up afterward. They also continued support of the project afterward to fine tune the interior filter which had been making noise (fixed!) and helped me to understand the different ways for the new thermostat to be used. Staff was helpful, friendly, respectful of my home and my schedule.<br>(I noted in services provided both heat and AC as Heat Pump was not a specific item listed. The price was considerable higher than the 2000 top price to choose in the cost listings! Over 20K.”
