“I usually love these guys. But our recent experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Our water heater (haven't had it for 6 years yet) threw a code and stopped working. Had a fellow out to look at it. He, basically, turned it off and on again, told my husband it would probably only last for a few showers and pushed him to replace it for close to $5k. The attempt at upselling was distasteful.“

“Had Ryan install heater a few years ago and it was a great job so we had him come to put in new water heater and add ac to existing heater. Quite a job because he practically had to reinstall heater. I have to say it was a great job and putting in dual air for upstairs and downstairs had him in the tight rafters and also in small crawl space under house. If you want a really good job call Ryan“

“I have nothing but praise for Steve at Pipedreams Plumbing. I called several plumbers to get a gas line moved. Steve was the most professional on the phone and in person. Additionally he was cheaper and hooray for that. While he was here doing a great job we happened to talk about my hot water heater, it was 22 years old. I asked for a quote to do it as well and his price was reasonable. He updated the straps and added a pressure relief tank too. There was no pressure or upselling at all, I just figured it was time, better to put in a new one than call a plumber at 4:00 AM on a Sunday (when it surely would have chosen to blow). We talked a bit and I learned he has years of experience which means a lot to me. If you'd like to do business with an experienced, pleasurable and down to earth guy who won't gouge you Steve is the guy. I'm keeping this sticker on my water heater for as long as I live in Sonoma!“

“Our AC stopped blowing any air at all and we had determined it was probably the blower. Martin came out and confirmed the problem and even though we were up-valley, he left to go get the part and came back and installed it the same day. I was surprised he didn't want to reschedule the installation for a different day since we were up-valley in St. Helena. We also wanted a minor change to the AC settings and he took care of that as well. One other nice thing was we supplied Martin with the model number of the unit and he had researched it before he got here, so when he did arrive, he was ready to go! FYI, we found the Comfort Response Team thru the 'Thumbtack: Home Service Pros' app. We will be using Martin and Comfort Response Team for other HVAC needs in the near future!“
