I am a sub-contractor that had done work for Elan construction more than a few times prior to having any real problems with them. Getting paid always took more time then it should have but I always got paid in some time. The last job I did for these people was a very expensive one in Palos Verdes. I got paid less than 50 percent and to this day John McFarland the owner has stiffed me over $5500. The home owner told me he paid these guys in full but they never paid the bill to me. The home owner told me that John had left some things unfinished that he was paid in full for as well. Stay away from this company unless you want issues down the road!

Finally a positive experience with a contractor! This is a professional outfit that really takes pride in doing a job right. They remodeled our garage and took the time to clean up electrical issues we didn't even know we had. They were prompt every day and wore masks. The job was finished on time and on budget. Every aspect of the job was done well.

Elan construction did exceptional work for us on a total home rebuild. They created many specialized features for us and always worked with alacrity and professionalism. Even after the construction was complete they have continued to stand by us! We had some damage from recent storms and within hours of us noticing they were already there and repairing the damage for us! I highly recommend them for any work you need done!
